Argh. the ETA from Fedex is still listed for today, but the package is still in Paris (France) while it should have been in Holland already and in dispatch. So I guess it won't be coming today

The weather vane is definitely too kool not to use!! So using the screws provided I mounted it inside the Detolf - and I must say it looks frickin AMAZING!!!!

I love this DX package so much!!!

Hopefully mine comes today, and hopefully the nice UPS man remembers when I get home and comes by in the afternoon to catch me. Might bail from work a little early to increase my odds. Then 15 minutes later, I'll have my ultimate Farmboy Luke! and lots of extra bits.

Yeah, its minor, but its up in front and I don't see why I should have to settle when there are plenty that aren't poorly done. Usually Sideshow is great at replacements. Not sure why they are being so stubborn on this one when its not even sold out. The only thing that sucks is I have have wait for the order to returned and refunded before I'll be able to order again

That stinks to hear... although to be honest; if you return it don't you have to pay the shipping cost back and then pay shipping again to have it sent back to you?

Also, can't you only order one exclusive... seems like it might be easier (and a lot cheaper) to take the $20, and then to touch it up with some black paint (if you can't remove it) and then regloss the area. Luckily it's pretty small and just on the tusk so if it's not a 100% match no one would ever notice.

I just did a live chat with UPS about the status of my Luke and Dark Knight and let's just say they were less than helpful.
The person just spouted the typical typed response about the "adverse weather" in the region,even though in MA it's been clear for the past 2 days.
I asked since the delay was their fault if they could deliver it over the weekend on Saturday,they don't deliver ground packages on the weekend was their response.
My package said end of day delivery,any chance I could get it at the start of day,whenever it's shipped,no was their answer.
Now my DX Luke and DX Dark Knight are going to sit in a ware house over the weekend and by the time they get delivered my Hot Toys Hawkeye might be delivered too,unless the "adverse weather" delays him too!

I wish Sideshow would use FEDEX!

Techincally they consider it damaged, so the returns on them. And after they get it back, my order will be cancelled and I should be able to order it again. Its a hassle and it sucks, but worth it to me. These things cost way to much these days to accept any hasbroesque slop like that when everyone else's cleary doesn't have it.

I mean if they wanted to give me a $100 credit so I could go buy one on ebay, that would be fine, but $20 isn't even close to what the head is going for.

I agree with you. Despite the annoyance of the hassle of sending it back I'd definitely take the opportunity to just get a perfect one for retail while you can.

You referring to those scuff marks? Mine has those as well. I assumed that they were intentional, representing damage when the faceplate exploded.

No, he means the little TINY bit of gold paint that has spilled onto the black!

I spoke with UPS yesterday and they told me that the problem is that so many flights were delayed and the whole system is backed up.

Luke is out for delivery now!

Sadly, Commander Gaunch, who was due the day before Luke, is apparently sitting around in Illinois waiting for a flight...
