There is a sort of irony that it was the horrendous Sideshow Bespin Luke that caused me to stop buying 1/6 Star Wars figures, and now it is the Hot Toys Bespin Luke that has brought me back.

Going to do them tonight. I got sidetracked last night.

A few things: I had to Super Glue all four magnets for both figures. And one of the belt hooks for the lightsaber had to be glued back on. At first I thought it was totally missing, but then I found it in the box.

I haven't even gotten around to taking the weathervane out of the box yet.

"Calm" Luke, like standing before Jabba, or when he meets with Vader, probably best represents ROTJ Luke.

But for me, this Look is ROTJ. I remember the almost identical picture being the cover of the kid's storybook I had, and it permanently cemented this as the defining ROTJ Luke.

Now that's a cool group shot. Just chillin' in the Dagobah swamp. All you need to do is write "wish you were here" on that pic and you've got yourself a postcard.

My extra Luke bits arrived from TA today so I've got my three Lukes all ready to go.

I'm really liking how Jedi Luke looks. The hair throws it off a bit, but I think the clean hair is throwing the look off for everything the clean hair touches. That's only a minor gripe, but if (or more likely, when) someone sculpts a more defining hair sculpt, the clean sculpt is going to look much better, both for Jedi and Bespin Luke.
