Yes. I don't know anything about this figure.

Ok, yes they both move have PERS system. It's the best SW 1/6 made to date IMO (Tamashii 3po is in the running as well) I suggest you go back and read about it, just don't blame me when you buy it!

:)

Thanks for the info. I ended up Googling it. It sounds cool, and I love the weathervane accessory, but I'm not wild about the head sculpt(s). Some angles look like Luke, others nothing like him at all.

Yes, the eye poses do seem to help a bit. Figures.com seem to be more spot on than the OMG Facebook album. But both have some of the best photos I've seen.

How is the scale in terms of SSC figures? All of my figures (except 4-LOM) are from SSC themselves. I don't want to get Luke if he's too small in comparison.

That is a great pose!

That is cool.

I didn't bother with the antenna until this year. I was bored one night and put it together, plopped Luke on it, stood back and went "damn, that's cool." He's been like that ever since. The batteries suck, either that or its the lights themselves.

That is an awesome pose and shot.

In regards to the weathervane, might be worth modding it, like I believe pixelpiper already has, so it runs from an outlet instead of batteries. Would be really nice to have the option to have it on without having to worry about dimming/dead batteries.

It would be a big buying incentive (at least for me) if there was a built in connector for an adapter to plug it in the wall socket and have all lights on all the time. All sorts of cheap battery powered crap of all types have it, a connector or a few naked pins for connection of an adapter. You still have to buy the adapter and cable but you don't have to break the stuff apart and solder stuff to get it to work.

If you're not very concerned about hiding the wires, then you don't have to tear anything apart and can wire in a connector for a power supply easily. I think such a decision by the manufacturer is a mixed bag, because hiding a connector in the stock configuration can compromise the design - this is something that a lot of people may not be willing to ignore and possibly a great number of people either wouldn't care or wouldn't want.

It certainly would have made my life easier, but in the end I was able to hide the wiring completely for my direct DC connection. ;)

That is one threatening bag of silica gel.

If I may digress, how many of you Freaks actually use silica gel in your collections? How necessary have you found it? And how often do you need to replace it?

Rather than having to keep re-adding it to sealed boxes I'm considering using large packs to do whole rooms.
