Sure, but it should be pretty strong relative to its size, definitely neodymium (rare-earth). The one that comes with the figure is a disc type, probably about 2mm in diameter and just under 1mm thick.

I do agree to this 100%. I'm probably the only lazy man on earth who hasn't decided if I'm going to get this or not. Really awesome set but the sculpts bother me. Seem off in my eyes.

Hmmm. Indeed. Well I think in a couple of months I'll pick this set up. As of now my time goes to the dark side. I know I'll have this in before it's completely sold out and prices are crazy high on eBay.

They are not perfect, but they are quite good for Hot Toys. They've never made a "perfect" sculpt and quite often make some that are very off, much more so than Luke.

True for sure. Hot Toys has made some great stuff. This is one of them where I've contemplated on getting it. I know I want it but at the same time do I want to spend the money for it? It's like when I waited to get the X3 Wolverine. I have him now and very happy to have him in my collection. Same goes for Luke here. Only thing is Wolverine I waited for pricing since it was too high. This is because of the Sculpts itself .Everything else is awesome.

Very nice! I can only think of one thing that would make it look better - swap them from left to right so that Luke can hold the saber in his right hand.

Haha. About time somoe brought up that scene. It's literally the only time in the movie you'll see the saber in his left hand and it's only there for about a second. The only reason it's there is because Luke gets knocked down and uses his right hand to break his fall. He quickly puts both hands back on the saber when he stands back up and every single time he wields with one hand, it's right hand in every movie. Same for Vader.

I'm sure if you're quick enough with the pause button you'll also find a shot of Luke with his eyes closed.

I just unpacked my box of the exclusive version ... It was waiting patiently in furniture storage for over a year!
It had been controlled by customs with little delicacy as plastic packaging film was to pieces. For €74 of taxes, at least they could have handled it with gloves.
... Well, for once that it happens, ok move along! ...
I think I will not surprise anyone if I describe the superglue used by HotToys as being a real crap! Hmmmm?
Between a magnet in one of the two heads, a metal plate in the mop of hair of the other one, the small circular magnet on the strap of the gun holster and the belt hook for lightsaber ... It's getting a bit much.
My complaints aside, it's frankly a very nice figure. The likeness to Mark Hamill is there (although nothing is perfect in this lower world) and once well futzed, it really looks great.
Ha yes, one more gripe: I regret the lack of articulation of the ankles (pronation-supination).

I'm on the same boat as you. Once I fulfill the last pre-orders for the next couple of months I'll have some spare money to spend on other things. This being one on my "To get list". I only have a couple others on the list but this is on it for sure.Been debating on this one for a while.
