Do you think since the Non-EX version has the best sculpt that eventually it will be the most highly sought after version? Maybe the sculpt itself will sell for the price of a figure?

Naaa, the body is the thing that everyone wants, and the new headsculpt has very minor changes. The ex version will still be more sought after.

There is no clear confirmation that the non-EX version is better, only that the first batch HONG KONG release may be worse.

You're going to confuse people by saying this nonsense.

So far it seems the SS EX does indeed have the "better" paint of the second HONG KONG batch.

Nothing but a youtube video even comes close to confirming this. I want side-by-side pics with a hi resolution camera before "confirming" this. Sheesh!

Also, if there is any difference its only a slight variation in paint job as far as it seems. As stated, it's really the extra body that made it appeal to everyone. Giving us the ability to make two complete figures.

Yeah... he didn't even compare an EX to regular... it was first batch HK regular to second batch regular.

Fair enough to bang on about genuine QC issues when they occur, but this comparing of paint jobs between two so-called different batches via a grainy, out-of-focus video, is scaling new heights of OC behaviour.

Originally, this was the case. . .but the second batch of "regular" figures seems to come with a stand, whereas originally, only the Ex. body came with one.
