I seriously doubt they dramatically changed the pain sculpt.
I could be wrong but aren't these things hand painted/finished?
In regard to the youtube vid, its probably just a case of the individual differences between two separate figures.


But either way, the best way to deal with this disappointment is to treat yourself and buy the much cooler HT casual Bruce Lee

Casual Bruce is no 'flavour of the month' !
I think it was this very thread...200 or so pages back ...where I was posting that what I really wanted was a 1972 casual Bruce

But my post was meant as a joke.

If you want to give up that's up to you. I am just sharing with all there should be a stand. Why some have it? You think it's a mistake? I am sure it's a mistake they DIDN'T put it.

I think it is a "running change" in production, not a mistake. Apart from the fact that it simply was never shown in the initial specs/pics (on page one of this thread), on SSC's exclusive page, they make a special point to note that the exclusive comes with:

The Sideshow Exclusive version of the Bruce Lee 12 inch Figure includes a unique feature available nowhere else: Additional regular muscular body and a figure stand with Bruce Lee's Chinese nameplate and 'Enter the Dragon' movie logo in Chinese

So, my guess is that the original decision was for them not to include a stand with the regular. But, I guess we'll never know for sure. Couldn't hurt for folks to e-mail Hot Toys demanding an extra stand, but I don't think Hot Toys are obligated to do anything about it.

Did you peel the plastic protective coating off the mirrored panels?.

yea i did actually thats why i found out there was a scratch on the top right corner ohh well
