You mean the only thing the EX has over the standard release is the extra body?

I feel like SS and HT just kicked me in the gonads. Where's my extra stand!

Personally, the stand issue doesn't mean much to me (though I wouldn't have turned down an extra), but it is the only obvious difference between batch one and two based on what has been released thus far.

If there is proven to be a difference in paintwork between batches, and if mine is an earlier batch, then I'll be a bit more annoyed.

Originally, this was the case. . .but the second batch of "regular" figures seems to come with a stand, whereas originally, only the Ex. body came with one.

There must be one stand whether you buy the reg or exc ver. If no stand in your reg you better ask for one which you are entitled and paid for.

I think HT will send stands to those who did not get them. I hate when figures do not come with standard stands. BD MKIII, Mech Test, and T-1000 Connor Disguise come to mind. I like when they come with two: environmental and standard, like Mark IV and VI. But I prefer standard every time!!

I don't think so. The diorama, yes, the traditional HT stand, no. There was no stand in the official pics/specs, so no one who pre-ordered is entitled to one. Only the Ex. body was said to come with a stand. Now, folks who order "batch 2" regular figure seem to be getting one, but this is in addition to what was listed with the official specs. Folks are gonna feel a bit bummed if newer batches have more stuff and better sculpts/paint apps, but I don't know how you are entitled to anything beyond what you signed up for when you pre-ordered (though in fairness, those pics had a completely different body, so I think people could rightly be miffed if they wanted that weird body with the overly-detailed muscles and didn't get one as they hadn't been paying attention to updates after the original pics were released--SSC's order page still shows the older body).

I got a stand with my regular as well.It is on the top left and right corner behind the 2 backdrops in the box.

If you want to give up that's up to you. I am just sharing with all there should be a stand. Why some have it? You think it's a mistake? I am sure it's a mistake they DIDN'T put it.

The point is that it's NOT a mistake. HT just decided later they would include the stand. They NEVER promised a stand with the original release.

HT didn't handle this very well.

I am in Asia and got it before US. We have the stand here. Some are missing and the shop got the stand for buyer. That is why I an so sure.

Its just a stand, who gives a ____ i don't even use stands with my figures.

If the paint apps are better on batch 2 then that sucks for people who bought this prior i guess but, really i don't see any differences between batches via pics posted here including my own from batch 2.

I've just paid over 200 bucks for a figure and I'm going to get bummed about a stand or a paint app? I know some would point to the apparent inequity or unfairness of this, but no way am I going to now decide that I'm disappointed with a figure that I was delighted with when I unboxed it. Pre-ordering comes with benefits and risks, and we're not talking leaky abs here. I remain happy without the diamond-studded stand and Michelangelo paint job.

Yeah I don't see why people are worrying about the stand more than the main attraction... the headsculpt and its paint! Though we still don't know for certain what the deal is with that.

Trust me, i doubt a stand is going to knock down the value of this figure in a few years. I'd like to think i'm in it for keeps and if i ever decide to sell it, it will be for a fair price.

I think you'd be pretty unlucky if any buyer down the track decided that the lack of a stand was a deal-breaker, or even warranted a lower price. This figure is just too awesome

i just recieved my very first hot toys figure and im loving it lol anyway just some minor issue was the plastic mirror was kinda scratch and lots of printer prints. The bigger mirror was also scratch on the top right corner. Other than that it is a awwwwsome figure!

Did you peel the plastic protective coating off the mirrored panels?.
