The nicer of the DX's on show there are the ones where you don't need to buy another specialised body in order to have a different look for the figure. Some of the prices for second or even loose bodies for those that do have been ridiculous.

Mind you, to effectively do a Map Room Indy to stand alongside the standard one you'd practically have to buy the whole figure again!

So, the winners are the HT and the secondary market, but not quite us!

That's what I would do. I ordered just the Arab disguise stuff from the HT Indy from TA, and got myself an extra SS Indy to eventually use with the disguise.

I actually bought an extra HT Indy headsculpt and boots from TA for my Arab disguise Indy. I'll use a TT body and Sideshow pants, shirt and satchel.

I already have a bashed Map Room Indy. I used a SS German Indy sculpt for the head, which doesn't look quite as large with the head-wrap on. I'll just take that robe and turban off and use the HT one.

Lol...I was being sarcastic...I think its funny how everybody's talking about cannabalizing the figure as if all It's good for is the spare accessories...of course I'm one of the few who has thought that this figure is pretty awesome from the beginning...and I own SS Indy. To me there is no comparison...but I know I'm in the minority and I accept that. There will always be conflicting opinions. This whole forum would be boring as hell if we all thought the same thing about every figure that's released! With no one to argue with, we'd lose half the members lol!

The head sculpt was $49.99. I got it plus the hat. I guess I will find out later this year if it was money well spent.

Agreed marker.... in lieu of the boxed set I just snagged a bunch of loose pieces from TA.. as disappointed as I am with the head.. this set will be excellent loose parts fodder for great customs...
