If that other pic is of a new indy retweak then it looks like his head is too small for the hat. So essentially all the _____ing and moaning led us from a high hat to a too big hat.

I did some tweaking to the photo too. Still a bit hard to tell.

I canceled a long time ago ... for Jack Sparrow. Cancelled Sparrow for Captain America. Cancelled Cap for Batman. So ... we're in the same boat. Batman looks a lot better anyway.

I canceled Indy to ensure that I have enough for Captain America, but I canceled my Batman TF as well because it is way too much money for something that will probably rip and melt in 5 years

Just about everything you can see in that pic is terrible. Then there's all the stuff you cant see that comes with a RAH301 body: brittle, easily broken plastic at near 1/7 scale. You can't even say it was worth the low cost - I don't know what the MSRP was on this, but if it was in line with Medi's usual pricing, it wouldn't have been pretty. But hey, doesn't mean UU can't get in there and give Indy a talking feature!

The Medicom Indy wasn't as bad as some people say. The sculpt was pretty good, except for the straight nose. Now the hat was garbage. Mine was always holding the hat because it looked better than on his head.
And even out of scale, the body was better than the early prometheus that came with Sideshow's. At least Medicom's wasn't so limp you wanted to give it Lavitra.

Yeh, I agree about the body. Apart from the fragility issues, the RAH body is IMO easily superior to the crap prometheus and even the TT when it comes to being able to achieve and hold a natural pose. I think of all the figures I own, the medis have been the most fun to pose.

I actually own the Medicom Indy (received as a gift) and it's not that bad. Indy and Henry are the only Medi figures I own, so I can't speak for the rest, but I have had zero issues with the body. In fact, other than the smaller scale, I quite like it. It's definitely more capable of realistic poses than the Prometheus and I am not sure what the "brittle" thing is all about. The hat is kind of bad out of the box. I used the boiling water trick to re-shape it and it looks pretty good now. I like all the relics that he comes with. The jacket isn't too bad, but the oversized zipper kills it. The whip is pretty crappy too, but at least he comes with a "whip hand" that can actually hold it. Don't get me wrong, he isn't the best Indy out there by a long shot, but not as bad as you would think. In many ways, he's more like a toy than a collectible figure, and with that in mind he is way better than anything Hasbro put out.
Still can't wait to add HT Indy to my lineup:

I just thought that the staff of ra could be a bit of a problem, it looks like it's taller than the back drop which means it's not going to fit into most display cases. Or it could be the angle of the photo
