I preordered this one, but can't afford Nicholson Joker.

If you factor in shipping costs (guessing a combined of $20) and rewards points you are looking at the following prices for the set:

BBTS: $495
Alter Ego: $481 ($9 in RP)
Sideshow: $479.75 (Free shipping and $25.25 in RP)

Of course if you live in CA Sideshow will hit you with tax and I think that might hold true for different AE and BBTS locations. But just on final cost (assuming my shipping estimate is close) then Sideshow just edges out the others... but does have an NRD on Joker.

thats what I was thinking. Galactiboy must have used RP towards it. I will prolly use AE or BBTS or SC to buy these with no sales tax involved.

Nope, but I'm factoring in RP offered at both Sideshow (5% worth) and Alter Ego (2% worth) in the overall cost.

But, I also mentioned that if you live in California (see above) you will get hit with sales tax which nullifies some of the savings.

So if I ordered from Sideshow (since I'm outside of CA) I would pay $505 in total, but with the free shipping and $25.25 in RP it's like it only cost $479.75.

AEC: $489.98

BBTS: $487.77

SS: $479.75 (after $25.25 RP and if you don't live in Cali)

CSC: $477.43

I went with SS.

Why?

Because they might hold the shipment from everyone else and send theirs first like what happened with Thor.

That seems right to me. I would say though that hot toys seems to produce a pretty adequate amount. I doubt you'll be left holding the bag anywhere you order from if you get in in the first month or so. you're almost 100% guaranteed, barring mass hysteria or plague outbreak if you order today.

Personally if you have no plans on canceling, Cornerstore is the place to go. They're great.

I ordered a pair from SS.

AEC has the best deal until you add Ohio tax to it, so that throws it out.

Want to get another set, and will probably go with CSC.

no, CSC did. original prices were 238.50 for joker & 216 for batman
my own fault for waiting. decided to go through bbts instead.

Hot Toys are getting scary good now. Aside from the slightly heavy texture, this figure is perfect!

The Batman resonates with me more than the modern incarnation. Not that I ma saying one is better than the other but this Batman has more of a fantastic element to him!
