Yeah, this is a tough one. I can't imagine having one figure without the other (especially since I'd have to part with my Nolan Joker and Batman to justify the purchase), And $500 for the set is lunacy. I know there's guys who didn't even flinch before they bought three of each, but I seriously need to pause before dropping $250 on a freakin' doll.

no, CSC did. original prices were 238.50 for joker & 216 for batman
my own fault for waiting. decided to go through bbts instead.

Batman is $239 l think it was at SS.

Indy is cheaper, comes with more hands, a base with two backdrops, dio piece and a second outfit.

This has one outfit and an extra coat, some great but tiny and cheap-to-make accessories a bland recycled base, and COSTS MORE ...

Nicholson and likeness rights aside, this is going too far.

Even Batman is too much with the amount provided compared to an equally priced Jack Sparrow

Agreed PERS and lighted base make it $60 plus or so more than a regular MMS figure? Guess what? It'll sell. Money grab going- HT will do it while 1/6 is hot!

I dunno... HT is eerily good at matching or even surpassing their prototypes. I have a feeling this will look amazing in-hand.

Bummer about CSC jacking up their prices; but I do wonder if retailers are prevented from offering the standard 10% discount on these.

well i don't know if SS changed their prices, but trust me on those original CSC prices. i was comparing prices for each site and writing them down.

Yup. To look at my DX Bruce - - the little beads of sweat. The claw marks. Abolsute perfection. I have no reason to think Keaton's paint apps won't be just as great.

Chances are that that is timed out by now. When I was going around pricing these I had a CSC cart with them in it, and when I decided to go with them the order disappeared when I hit the checkout button.

This isn't better than the MMS DX 02 Batman. No Keeton head equals a fail on Hot Toys part.
