I assume they will do boots/ankles like they did with Superman.

I don't think I've gotten around to saying it anywhere, but I am absolutely thrilled with Superman's ankle articulation. Enough to make poses like the one you referenced look great, and very very sturdy.

I didn't think Supes had much of any ankle articulation. At least mine doesn't. I really liked how Black Widows boots were done and was hoping HT would do similar with Bats.

Check Supes again, you might be surprised. :)

They aren't like Spiderman of course, but they're great for getting the feet flat on the ground in just about any natural standing Superman pose. They have what feels like normal double ball jointed ankles. It was the first thing I checked when I got the figure.

In other words foot fetish deviant. :lecture

So who is going to be the first to cut the rubber off and attach it to a fabric jump suit?

The rubber suit has a mattel-ish look.... lack of details..

I wish the suit was kind of like the newer Arnold bodies. The material they use is much better than rubber and the cuts in the shoulders and elbows wouldn't bother me at all if it meant I could safely pose Batman with all of his gadgets or with his cape spread and his arms out.

I had two pre ordered originally, but I cancelled one because I don't want to be stuck with a rubber rotting toy.

To paraphrase Maglor....stands are for *******. :lol

Never use 'em, never will. :lecture

:clap :clap :clap :rotfl

try that with some of the top heavy ones, put on a cab, then shake.

For the record, I do have a few stands in my collection out of necessity. But those that necessitate it are very rare. Unless they are very top heavy or weak ankled, as long as you get the center of gravity right they are unlikely to tip.

Well, I hope you don't complain when they take a dive.

The way I see it: if I have to replace a True Type every once and a while, it's worth it to have a display that looks much better to me.

I haven't had to replace a True Type yet (although I did have to repair one knee).

By the way guys, wheres Difabio? Apparently he hasn't been on since Dec 21st.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that too. :dunno

I haven't tried many standing poses so that may be why I'm missing it. I was mainly thinking about not being able to point the feet much in the flying pose. He's probably very stable in a stance just not as much ankle motion as Jack.

It's harsh lighting. Check out the other properly lit pics. Plus what other details should there be? It's not like the BB or TDK suit. It's suppose to mimic the human body.

I'm stressed because I don't know how i'm going to display him....which gadget to pose him with :panic:

But no matter what, he's got to be standing next to his car! :lecture

An 89 collection for me with just Batman and Joker and not his car will constitute a big fail of epic proportions!

Losing out on the Tumbler was a lesson learned.

Lets just say my wife knows what my Sig refers to. :lol

The Sig will be retired once the car is resting on my glorious table! :yess:

Bring it HT, bring it with all your QC issues, paint rubs, flat tires, intermitten led lights, loose ankles and melting rubber.....bring that gruesome son of a _____ home to papa!
