how long will people who ordered from alter-ego comics have to wait to recieve there's?
Yeah, agreed, Nolan's Batman worked perfectly in his own reality. I thought Begins was more successful though, it still felt like Batman, and had some iconic Batman moments. For example the (actual) bats flying down the hallway with him. For TDK though, I think he pushed it way too far away from the subject matter. I mean can you imagine Batman from TDK running down a hallway with hundreds of bats?!
To me the truest incarnation we have seen of the comic book character is Keaton. He even managed to make sense of the fact that you wouldn't recognize Bruce Wayne with half his face covered. The costume was perfect. It was supposed to inspire fear, a shadowy vigilante. The theatrical side of the character was very important to the narrative, it made sense of the other colorful characters in his world. Not a kevlar covered James Bond, which I feel Nolan's moved towards. Why make a Batman movie if you actually don't like the fundamentals of the character? Keaton was also the first (I believe) to do the lower key speaking voice whilst in costume, which Bale hilariously murdered in TDK. The joker standing in the middle of the street with a gun whilst batman races towards him in a bat vehicle? check Batman and TDK. There is lots of symmetry between the movies, and now by the looks of it in TDKR with the Selina ballroom dance.
Batman 89 (and returns for me) >>>>> Nolan's movies.
Just my 2 cents.
Show the Burton Batman and the Nolan Batman films to someone who knows nothing of either and see which one they find more dramatically interesting. The burton batman movies are ridiculous. So ridiculous in fact that when Burton left the turned over the reins to Joel Schumacher.
No, the burton batman movies ARE certainly not better films that Nolan's. Maybe they are remembered fondly but they are tragically flawed in a lot of ways.
And this is an example of opinion being presented as fact.
Devil's advocate here... Let's say I wanted to cancel my PO at sideshow and order this from a seller that has it in stock because the 23 year wait to own this fgure is too much for me to bare for the next 24 days. If I were to do that, could you guys recommend a good seller that currently has it in stock?
Oh... and I am in agreement with those that state that the "Burton films >>> Nolan films". The Burton films offer Batman in film form that still retains the fun and wonder of a Batman comic, while the Nolan films are way to bogged down in trying to make Batman "fit" into a real world setting. Not my cup of tea. I prefer comic films that still feel like comics.

Just stay with SS order. Those 23 days will go by in a flash. And then you have reward points to use.

Nostalgia isn't the key factor, or a main factor in why people enjoy this particular Batman. It may be one, but that doesn't apply to everyone. They like it because it was/is good. Film has changed, times have changed, but so what? Does that instantly make films that we love like Star Wars, Terminator or Batman invalid or obsolete? No.
Was everyone shouting "NOSTALGIA" when this film was critically acclaimed and a huge success in 1989? Nope.
