How are Crow and Maglor getting there capes to look so heavy, i just can't seem to get it, are they ironing them?

Jesus no! Haha. Basically your cape lives and dies by the wire in the bottom. I get the front how I want it, fold the first piece, and then just keep folding the cape from front to back in on itself like folded wings. If you crimp the wire tightly enough, it holds the pose and doesn't flare out. It's pretty time consuming.

Would I be messing up the PERS if I unscrewed the back of his head, just to see how it actually works? Has anybody tried to open up the back PERS assembly?

Unless there's something wrong with the PERS, it's okay, but both my 2 Keaton Bats HS have flawless PERS setups, even I wouldn't go there, just out of curiosity. But the PERS is removable, as I had to mess with my Indy HS for customizing.:lecture

Moved around the light in my Detolf so it's slightly off-center, resulting in more natural lighting on Bats instead of the harsh lighting directly on him. Pretty happy with the results. Looks a lot more natural.

I desperately need a backdrop for this guy, similar to the one that came with DX Indy. No idea where to even start looking for one, though.

Amazing, exactly what I want mine to look like :(

What position are the arms on yours? As the positioning of the arms is crucial to getting the cape to sit that close to the body

Wow - that looks absolutely kick a$$!! :clap

A question guys - is the belt adjustable, as in how high or low it sits on the waist? It's just that I've seen in pics, that the belt's riding high on some figures & not so much on others - cr0w's looks spot on.

Mine should be shipping in a couple of weeks, but till then.. I've only got these pics to look at, which isn't bad at all I guess. :lol

Even just unscrewing it and opening up just to see how it works is a no-no? I mean, if I open it up, will there be something in there that's so small that might pop or spring out and impossible to put back in?

I'm curious to know how many Batman comics you've read.

None. In fact one time in another thread he actually went as far as insulting some comic lover's. He said something to the effect that they were toilet paper to use on his @$$ and that they were childish. :lol Of all things right? childish. This is coming from a guy that actually dresses up as Batman.

And yet, by saying the things you've been saying you fall into the same category on the Bruton side.

:exactly:

If a guy's avatar and signature are of him parading around in a Batman costume, I immediately disregard anything they have to say that doesn't pertain to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

tommyh: I basically put his arms all the way down to his sides, turned the gauntlets toward his body, and just basically tried to get everything that was protruding outward as close to his body as possible.

Vintij: My belt came like that. I did some adjusting to get the tissue paper out from underneath it, but overall I didn't have to do much of anything to it.

It's easy to undo and put back on, and the suit design pretty much defines where it shoud go, you can naturally go against it if you like but there's a gap between his abs and the "pants".

I find it kind of hypocritical that he proudly dresses up in that costume and then goes on to complain about "nerds jumping down my throat" in response to his views about the Batman movies.
I'm immediately reminded of this:

So SS's 2nd shipment should be here within a couple of weeks, right? Hopefully? I might cancel the BBTS order and get it directly from SS, the wait is killing me.

I cant wait to get mine either.Waiting is difficult.

Awesome Jye! Looks (almost) just like cr0w's! :hi5:

That's why I bought a second cape. All that crimping will lead to breaking. :(
