I'm hoping the next creative team that tackles Batman will combine the gritty nature of Nolan's version with the comic aspects of Burton's Batman. If they give us something right in the middle it should really make a lot of people very happy.

thats what i thought originally as well. its batman, it cant be bad! but....i REALLY hated batman begins. it was just so...BORING. but i still had hopes for TDK with joker. but nope, wrong again. i just feel the new movies are blah. maybe if these came out first and there was nothing to compare them with, but its hard when you have a steak already and someone offers you a hamburger. ill stick with the steak.

also, im naturally going to be the opinionated one since im probably one of the only people on this board who heavily dislike the nolan movies whereas most here do like them.

...nothing BUT fanboyism and pompousness. thats what i am more used to. here its a bit more tame, but i am used to nerds jumping down my throat for even THINKING about hateing on nolan. so thats what im talking about.

also i dislike people saying im opiniated when they are as well. kind of hypocritical if you ask me. face it, everyones got opinions and thats just the way it is. if you dont like mine, well too bad. but ive said my piece and im finished here.

Personally, I like seeing different takes on Batman on film, just I like I enjoy the different styles in graphic novels. I really enjoy '89 Batman, but I find the rest of the series weak. I love the Nolan films, but I don't consider myself a fanboy or anything. I'm just a guy who likes what he likes.

First post here. I was on the fence initially about the Keaton Batman and Nicholson Joker but after seeing all the amazing photos, I went right to Toys2 and (pre)ordered them.

I got an email from Toys2 yesterday telling me that they are indeed recieving split shipments on the rest of the Batmans and thank zombie Jesus that they should be shipping mine in mid march. It can't come soon enough.

Hey! Folks that ordered from Toys2 I just got my shipping notice!

Moved around the light in my Detolf so it's slightly off-center, resulting in more natural lighting on Bats instead of the harsh lighting directly on him. Pretty happy with the results. Looks a lot more natural.

I desperately need a backdrop for this guy, similar to the one that came with DX Indy. No idea where to even start looking for one, though.

I actually have some pure black fabric left over from some capes I made a while back...just trying to figure out the logistics of actually draping it inside the Detolf without it looking like ____.
