Everybody seems to think the over-the-shoulder thing is just a matter of pulling the cape back up and over so that the inside lining of the cape is facing up.

It's not.

The way the look was achieved for the promotional photos was to tuck the cape back in and over itself so that the outer edge is what's along his shoulders and down his arms.

Let's see how you have done yours.

Chill out, Mr. Snarky-pants. You will when I finally get mine.

So, how's that coming? :)

Nope, I preordered both at the same time and I just got a call last night, just picked him up now and I am setting him up now!

now I just have to pick up joker when he comes in...

If you ordered this with The Joker at Toys2 do you have to wait till Joker comes in stock?

Yep. That's the nature of a thin wire. Now that I have a second one coming I don't worry about over-futzing it anymore.

Plus I have that mod in mind for the first cape...

Great pic :)

None. In fact one time in another thread he actually went as far as insulting some comic lover's. He said something to the effect that they were toilet paper to use on his @$$ and that they were childish. :lol Of all things right? childish. This is coming from a guy that actually dresses up as Batman.

:exactly:

I figured. In most cases like this one the person has never read a Batman comic, which is ironic considering that's were ALL interprations of the character are pulled from. Oh well, he can hate. We will love them both.

:blissy:blissy:blissy

If a guy's avatar and signature are of him parading around in a Batman costume, I immediately disregard anything they have to say that doesn't pertain to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Indeed.

I find it kind of hypocritical that he proudly dresses up in that costume and then goes on to complain about "nerds jumping down my throat" in response to his views about the Batman movies.

Indeed again.

Almost. Schumacher stated numerous times that his movies were inspired by the '60s TV show, and that it was the only Batman he was familiar with.

Nolans take is so fresh

Great now I see those stinkers as ****** commercials. Batman walking on a beach bootless with pants rolled up and picking up shells.

As for the nips on the suits from the other movies. To be honest, after all the talk and crying about them, when I seen the movies, seen the nips the first time, and never noticed or cared about them after. I still dont see what the big deal is.

I can't believe that no one in WB warned him to watch Burton's films... :cuckoo:

I seem to remember him saying that he wanted to get away from the darkness and seriousness of the Burton's films. I have to assume he watched them, but I wouldn't be surprised if he hadn't.

After Batman Forever Schumacher expressed interest in making a Batman Year One film I believe.

Yeah, that would have been extremely weird and garish in his hands, I'm sure.

Still, while I love Batman Begins, I still think a better origin Batman, a year one type film can be depicted. Begins got bogged down with the cliched doomsday plot in the third act. If they took out the league of shadows and the typical end game threat against the city, and focused more on Batman/Bruce Wayne and the mob element (like some sort of amalgamation of Batman '89 and Batman Begins), it would have been the perfect origin Batman movie.

He said that in the commentary for the special edition DVD, years after both movies came out and then again after The Dark Knight was released. It's easy as hell to say you really wanted to make something serious after Batman fans worldwide have said that they dislike and even hate your movies and prefer the serious ones instead.
