I've had a little time to play around with this. First off - I think canceling this figure based on the whatever oil issue there might be would be a mistake. I definitely plan on covering the back of the belt somehow just to be on the safe side, but I can't image not having this in my collection. It's absolutely fantastic. Get it in-hand first, then return it if you think you must.

I've taken just a few pics; I still need to futz with the cape to get it the way I want. I'll be spending a lot more time tomorrow posing it. For now -

I agree, and that's a sensible reply, this pic is great!:clap
I intend to do the same to the belt.

Like a lot of figures, seeing pics and having it in-hand can make a huge difference. Even though all the pics we've seen have looked great, there's nothing like seeing it up close. The detail and texture to the suit far exceed what I was expecting. And, of course, the sculpt is Keaton. It's perfect IMO.

Nice lighting Batty, wrong movie, but this shot immediately reminded me of Returns when Catwoman breaks out her claws and Batman just looks at them like "oh ____".

It does. :lol

The PERS work perfect on this figure. You can really get different emotions just by moving them in the slightest.

Any chance of a front pic without the belt with good lighting.

Yes I agree, I had believed it to be the best 1/6th release ever until the oil issue has returned to haunt me.

This thread's getting good.

Batty I love those pics! The lighting is perfect! :rock

More like nightmare :horror

Yeah I think you are mis-remembering :lol

2008 OC Batman's only QC problem is weak ankles

I honestly just scanned the last 100 pages to try and find the post I was thinking of. It was either a different thread or I really did dream it. :slap :lol

Wow. I recall creating this in jest when the figure was announced. Now I feel bad.

No you don't :lol

I knew at some point, someone would blame me.
Listen guys, I thought we had an understanding.. it's Maglor's fault?
Everything is remember?

:lol

:cuss Damn you Maglor!!!

The English wouldn't be as good if Enterbay had put words into his mouth.

Maglor must have translated for him :lecture

Poop Maglor.

Magpoop .

:rotfl :lol :rotfl :lol :rotfl

I'm seriously considering changing my name to Magpoop.

I'll take seams and joints if it will rid us of the rubber. This figure would have still been awesome in plastic.

I was so nerve-wrackingly close to jumping into this line. '89 Bats turned out amazingly, or so I thought.

Hard plastic is the way to go. And really, what's keeping them from doing it? They've already sacrificed the ab crunch joint on their Predator lines, so there's no reason behind keeping the rubber. I think all of their plastics get a little oily to some degree, but the harder ones are more resistant. Rubber, on the other hand, will deteriorate as a result.

I agree. My 89 has some problems, Pers cover won't sit flush and the top half of the suit is twisted and won't sit straight :slap

My Shadow pred is perfect and feels bullet proof

Love the shots Batty! Glad you finally got him and that you like it. It was well worth the wait!

This one made me laugh, I got the feeling Bats was rolling his eyes thinking, "Oh wonderful , him again."...:lol

Hey guys I'm looking for a bit of advice. My Bats turned up yesterday and I've unboxed him this morning, great figure, although I've yet to remove the black paper behind the belt. The thing is that his right leg is shorter than his left leg, making him list to the side whilst stood upright. It's one of those things that your not sure at first but the leg is definitely a quarter of an inch or so shorter. Should I live with it? Or do I contact Sideshow CS? Has anyone else had this? :(

Thats common, its just not all the way in the hole, you gotta get rough with it and really shove it in there.

*cue the peanut gallery*
