shipping can really make the difference here. For instance, BBTS is $13 shipping for me whereas Viking Playground charges $32 shipping for me to Cali. That $20 difference eradicates the spread.

Also beware the NRD. Why pay it when you don't have to.

prices are for both batman and joker
ALTEREGO $469.99 + shipping
SSC $505.00 free shipping + 505 points
CSC $471.00 + shipping
BBTS $475.00 + shipping
FBC $455.98 + shipping
Viking Playground $454.49 + shipping
Capstone Comics $454.99 + shipping

And if the PERS system works from the back of the head or if the head is removable.

My guess would be that the controls for PERS are under the removeable faceplate, but i guess it could be under the head if it is easy enough to remove...

I am unsure about this guy. He looks really cool but as i've said previously I dont like the movie character. Plus i've already PO'd Batsuit Begins Wayne who I like better. I guess release is March so if I have enough spare cash for this guy (and the Joker of couse) I might pick im up.

Why would you buy a figure of a character you don't like? :dunno

From what I can tell from the pics. The head (to the bat symbol) is a one piece hard plastic. You can see as the arms are lifting the cape, the spines are actually keeping the cape down. I thought we can move the head a little but I don't think it's possible because the bat emblem stays in the center of the chest. I think the PERS gives the illusion of the slight head movement.

On the movie suit the emblem is attached to the cowl which locks into the chest armor... so it's probably pretty close to movie accurate when it comes to Batman.

M.

yeah I think maglor said the same thing a while back. Still aside from the articulation we've seen on the arms and the legs, I think that's pretty much the range in motion for this figure. I'm going to have him posed with the arms straight up with the cape spread out.

That represents Keaton Batman for me. He was always too "showy" in my opinion.

I said I'd wait but my resolve was weak. I ordered a 2nd one from BBTS. If the time comes and I can't afford it I'll just cancel. Easy peasy.

Did the same...I'm thinking the same way...plus they take longer to ship which is also good.

Uh.... Keaton couldn't move his head in the move. :dunno

The cowl was rubber, he could turn his head slightly. Someone posted pictures a while back showing a slight head turn by Keaton.

Well this is as far as he could move his head.
