Yeah it just took me a little while to bend it with pliers into the right position, someone had suggested it probably 300 pages back lol.

yeah, I think I checked all that. But it still feels like one leg needs to be moved outwards for a wider stance than the other so that he stands straight. Or do you guys all have figures with legs that are perfectly symmetrical for him to stand straight?

Dude you need to relax and be a little patient. You ask for help but instead of waiting for an answer you try to do it yourself and break the wrist peg. Then when you ask again you don't seem to wait for an answer. Now as far as how you switch hands on the figure is you pill them out very carefully, it the wrist pegs comes out with the hand, you warm it up either with a blow dryer or dip it in hot water, not boiling. Then you can pull it out. If, as you did, break the wrist peg you stick a pin into the piece that's stuck in the hand and see if it has enough grab to pull out. If not glue the pin into the broken piece and then pull it out. As far as the leg, that happens with a lot of HT figures. It might be the lower leg isn't pushed all the way into the upper leg.

Ermm.... you pull them off. :stick

Diagram please.

just got this bad boy and im lovin it, suit scares me beyond belief though gonna leave him very static and trying to find a way to pad or wrap the crotch cradle, i feel like it will either stick to the thighs or push through them over time....has this issue been covered ??

I covered it by not using the stand.

I love what you've done with your cape BTW. :)

thanks, to tame it a bit i folded the excess inward from both sides in the back and used small bobby pins to keep it clipped

Yeah, certainly need to relax. I guess cos they are expensive and are my first Hot Toys! :) Wasnt sure if I was even going to "play" with it or just be ultra careful and put it on the shelf.

But thanks for your tips. The legs issue isnt too major. I dont think it's because the lower leg isnt pushed that far. It's only a slight diff, and I've seen it in other photos, so no biggie.

I'll just be careful when changing hands from now. In order to pull it out, one hand holds the arm over the gaunlet near the wrist. I've had to hold this pretty tight in order to allow my other hand to pull the hand off. Does anything think this would damage the suit under?

I'm thinking of picking one pose and leaving it like that for a long time!!

I apologize for my god awful camera and flash. This is how I have the waist hugger set up to keep it from damaging the rubber. To be honest it doesn't even touch it and if it does, it only touches the belt slightly. I have had zero issues with it, no falling or moving in the slightest. I highly recommend in doing this to keep it from being damaged with dents.

I picked up a sideshow stand off eBay for like 10 bucks, so to clarify this is not the stem that came with Keaton, I have that put away untouched.

I notice that there are ebay sellers that sell spare parts for these figures. Has anyone bought spares from these sellers before (eg. seller goodshipped?). I think I should buy some spares just in case!

Swapping the HT stand grabber for the SSC one is a great idea actually.

With mine though, I've just pushed the original grabber all the way down, & then simply widened the figure's stance.

Just as effective really..

late in the game, so happy with this figure. here's my attempt in getting that 'perfect' drape on the cape, still a long way to go. i know that this will peel off in time, just wish we could get a custom cape that looks the same, good fit and flow, but won't shed.

thanks snake for the pics, i am using the older silver clip so i will check ebay for the one you are using there

I think that it was just a general comment about what happens to that kind of material over time, it was not aimed at the figure.

No one has reported this.

Maybe so, but some are good at running with that as if it was an official news source. Then it turns into a giant thread. Sometimes this place feels like journalist central. What we don't know we'll make up and if we don't get the answer we want, we'll run with it anyway.
