I notice that there are ebay sellers that sell spare parts for these figures. Has anyone bought spares from these sellers before (eg. seller goodshipped?). I think I should buy some spares just in case!

I can recommend goodshipped. I buy lots of spare parts from him.

If they ever don't show up (HK -> US mail can be sketchy), I just let him know and he sends me another one free of charge.

late in the game, so happy with this figure. here's my attempt in getting that 'perfect' drape on the cape, still a long way to go. i know that this will peel off in time, just wish we could get a custom cape that looks the same, good fit and flow, but won't shed.

I was just looking for clarification on that.

They folded the entire mass of it in the center, not the seams. In other words, it was properly folded, but it was folded unnaturally to fit in the box they shipped it in.

Shouldn't matter, most everyone here has folded their cape along the seams AND between the seams to get the cape to lay naturally. It should be fine.

Hmm,after re-reading your post, I'm still confused. It was folded properly but unnaturally? I'm not sure what that means. I'm not denying what your saying I just don't get it. Was it like I said, top to bottom?? The only reason I'm so interested is because I have one coming from Toy Anxiety too.

I would think as long as they didn't wad it up into a ball, it should be ok. Unfurl it & let it lay flat overnight.

Not so hard to picture, remember how it came in the box with Batman, in a triangle shape. Now take the top (pointy part) and fold it down towards the bottom (the widest part) of the cape.

If the wire are crease you can never get them back to there original shape.

Exactly this. Doing that defeats the whole purpose of buying it.
