So he wore it both ways. I think the cape looks much better, and far more natural in the picture I posted first. In my opinion, that's 10 times more true of the one sixth figure. If you like it your way, I'm not gonna stop you, but please don't tell me I'm 'doing it wrong.'

What's the difference? I can't tell from the angle he is standing in the first pic.

Why does the cowl look so battered...

Yeah, the whole head looks weird in that pic. He looks bloated in that cowl or something.

Well, I already have a gold leaf metallic paint marker and still have left over metallic gold leaf paint -- but it's oil based and I probably should report it as toxic waste because of its strong fumes. ..

So my plan would be to use the gold metallic paint on the buckle as it will catch a lot of the different gold and dark gold hues and then paint the rest of it over with the gold marker. It's not just any marker, I had to look all round for something like it and ended up purchasing at an Art Store. Anyway, IF I do this it may not directly match the film belt but it WILL set off the black suit in a super cool way.

I never really liked the Kenner-ish banana yellow belt.

did I say I love this figure....today I was at the opening weekend of Avengers...awesome movie...love hulk and Iron man the best...anyhow I saw the trailer to the TDKR....gave me goose bumps..or Jlo would say goosies....lol...anyway can't wait for 7/20 !!!

So opened this guy and he's great! unfortunately the neutral face would not move so when i tried pushing harder to take it out, my thumb slipped and my nail (thats not long at all) chipped the paint right off his lips...so now im gunna have to use a different face piece with a more expressive pose. oh well.

I posted a video on how to easily swap faces a while back, but I've actually discovered an even easier way. Might have to make another video.

Oh dear! Is there no re-paint option you could tackle? Perhaps one of the talented artists on these forums?

That really sucks. That's the main reason I didn't try any other face plate our of fear of damage, or making it lay flush with no seams. I wouldn't display it with any other mouth except relaxed anyway.

i think i may be able to fix it, it chipped some plastic off too. its like with anything collectible now that i know its messed up it will always be messed up. I like to do dynamic poses with my figures so i may attempt the fight see from the end with the bloody mouth and joker or joker pulling the long revolver out of his pants with Batman have a staggered walk look from the crash... just a shame cause the neutral face looks most like keaton...hoping to see if another face pice pops up online for sale

Don't order a cape, I did and they folded it to fit into their box. To better explain, how its folded in the DX box? Now take that and fold the collar down to the bottom. That's how I got it and it had a crease in it. 37$ down the drain.

Well you need to cut the cape to put the in rods right? So I figured I would get a spare if I ever decided to change his pose to the batwing so I can still have a cape that was not tampered with. I actually have 3 capes now including that one haha.

I think the pose I got him in now is what he is staying in. I will post pictures tonight, I have him back to back with Superman CR and on his other side is Classic Predator.

I've gotten 3 and all of them are sealed as far as I know. Wonder what that is about. The only other one I know is Michael at MWC toys, he had said he had to cut his in his review I believe.
