Coco probably just had a ton of multiples and sold one to pay for some new stuff. That's like his favorite character/figure judging by the time, money and effort he put into '89 Batman. Even before the Hot Toys version.

Hi guy's. First post!

I have just purchased this outstanding figure and it's everything I'd hoped! One question though (don't bite, I'm knew to the hobby!).

The little tab say's please refer to user guide for instructions on assembly but I can't see this on first glance and this box is so brilliant that I don't want to go ripping things up! Where exactly is this located? or can I find it on the web?

I know I can put it together easily myself, I'm just wondering if it actually exists inside the box.

Thanks in advance,

Ha ha, yes, I found it just as you put up your post! Thanks though! Sorry for the clutter! Now to get to work on this "wonderful toy".

:welcome

-the pers sistem is fragile, so don't play too much with it or you'll go blind.

:lecture

Maglor is the Posing R&D Department for the SSF's DC section.

:lol :yess:

Yeah, a world were Coco doesn't have this figure is not a world I want to live in.

Just got mine from Cocoboloboy (great guy) and it's an amazing piece, the likeness is impressive. I need to play with it some more and figure out the cape.

AWESOME! Great pics and I'm so glad they arrived safely. :rock

Coco sold his Bats too?!

Yep. Just sold my extra. Since I'm taking the plunge into 1/4 scale figs I decided I didn't have the room for multiples. :(

Welcome!!!!
my 1st Hot toys figure was this batman, and it's really amazing!!! this is your 1st step to a very adictive world :panic:
now every other figure I see looks "mehh..." to me...
and for sure you will need to get the Joker...that's a REALLY amazing figure, and the 2 of them looks outstading together
somethings that you have to know:

-this is not a toy so it's a delicate figure, you can see him as a "scale model". don't pose him permanetly on extreme poses, the ruber suit may tear with the time.
-the pers sistem is fragile, so don't play too much with it.
-the cape is very hard to futz, but don't be frustrate... you have to be patient.
-the guantlets, and some accesories are fragile too, be careful.

This way you will enjoy your figure a long time :clap

Hey thanks! I will def pick up the Joker and also the Christopher Reeve Superman looks like it needs to be bought! I'm not one for extreme poses. I think I'll display him much like the guy on the previous thread with the cape hanging and tucked back a little. It's not as hard to mold as some of you guy's seemed to make out! Although I may not be as picky!

YES! The Gauntlet fins.... damn! I was changing hands out and the smallest fin on his left arm came away, it did'nt so much as snap , more like it just needed a nudge. Looks like a pin head of glue was used to insert it when it was made and it wasn't enough. No biggie, I'll just pop a tiny dot on the end and put it back in.

My WL order that converted shipped last night. :yess:

You will really enjoy this one then. It's the kind of figure that does not need that much doing to him in terms of poses. Perhaps it's a tribute to just how good a figure and realistic representation they have come up with that, in fact, I don't think that I have yet seen a bad photo of him. He is a total badass.

It also shows just how right 'on the money' the original costume designers were at the time. They really did set the template for all BATMAN suits to follow....apart from the nipples :slap :dunno

yes!, those guantlet fins, I have to glue one too, but it's an easy fix... but it'll be sad if it fells and you never found it again :(

Just picked one up for a great price on ebay and I have to say I am pretty impressed with it. Didn't think it would be as good as the others, but I really like what they did with the cape.

After seeing Dark Knight Rises, I'm ready to give up on most of the Nolanverse anyway.

Need to get this guy, then I'll have every Batman figure Hot Toys has released. Plus, Batman was/is my favorite movie growing up.
