Black acrylic paint applied in washes will neither crack nor stiffen the fabric if done right.
Yeah, that sounds great and all but I have no real experience with painting. Don't even know what a "wash" is,

I'm still on the fence with this figure, it's the rubber decay /ripping factor and no decent pose for fear of damaging the suit .
I believe that it is a very diluted layer of paint. Acrylic paints are solvent free so water is the 'thinner' for them. It all depends on how much of a dilution folks have used...1 part water to 1 part paint, 2 parts water to 1 part paint, 3 parts water to 1 part paint etc dependant on how much dilution was required......

I have not done this myself so that part is for the ones who have actually done it to answer. So come on freaks! What is the preferred mix ratio to be used to get a good effect, so that our fiendish friend can slap some of that paint on?
My wait list for this converted. I hope I don't get one that was futzed too much and returned.

Is that what they do? I didn't think it was. I thought that those were kept as replacements/spares. I know that after this amount of time, I am probably wrong, but I know which I prefer to believe.
