Back in the 90s, was the Terminator figures with the flesh factory released at Christmas time?

It's a UK joke. Seems nearly most phones, computers and such serviced have been caught with homemade/porn and the really bad one. Including politicians. Same the other day hearing Radio 2 and a lot of photographers getting labelled as peados in public with cameras. Guilty until proven innocent.

Ahh, I see. I knew I was missing something on that comment.

Congrats Timmy :) That's actually an excellent shot!

Thanks Roy. :hi5:

Looks like a real little Arnold sitting there. :rock

I never wanted a weekend to end and a Monday to come so fast in my life.

It is eerie how spot on this is.

Yep. Every stage of damage (not down to the bullet holes mind you) and more than one of some of those stages if I deem the scenes important enough or cool enough to display. Dioramas for the Steel Mill sure would be nice.

That's going to be one hell of a display!:clap

Yeah, it is bigger, it's in perfect scale IMO.
Hopefully the days of HT micro heads is behind us.

Indeed! FINALLY! :rotfl

If I'm correct in my earlier post, there would be 4 stages:

1. Semi-bd head, semi-bd jacket, bd chest
2. All of the above plus bd leg and bd gloves (minor nit: they put flesh on the left bd gloves)
3. Semi-bd head, full-bd jacket with missing arm, bd gloves and leg
4. Full-bd head plus the rest of 3

Right now I have 4 displayed but I would like to acquire the extra parts to make one figure to represent 1-3: semi-bd head with pants, gloves, jacket, and arm to switch out.

You are correct sir.

Cool man, get you photobucket working, would love to see some pics.

It came back to life the other day and I posted some crap pics last night actually. Must be about 10 pages back.

I just don't have very good pic-taking conditions. My camera is getting on and I see marks and dirt on and inside the lens, my room is a total disaster zone, I have no atmospheric lighting and have only been able to use the main room light which sucks donkey scrote and makes everything yellow.

My Pescadero diorama has cool lighting but its not ideally located for me to take pics in it. At the moment I can't even use the blue lighting of the corridor section because its not near enough to a mains socket and I don't have an extension cable. I'd have to move the diorama, which is a total pain in the arse because its in sections which have to be disassembled and then painstakingly put back together.

And my diamond shoes are too tight! (old 'Friends' joke)

This is surely the most positive Hot Toys thread ever right?
I can't remember another figure which has received such an overwhelmingly positive reaction. DX Sparrow was the last I guess?

In no way accurate but how he will be for tonight:

Almost impossible to choose a display option!!

As ever its figures first, worry about display and doing proper pics later. But yeah, that's gonna be a whole new era of my collecting. Just fully enjoying what I already have, displaying it well at long last and taking pics.

Something to look forward to man, but your collection does demand to be documented! I've only had a proper display area myself since last year.

I dunno, DX08 and 09 and now 14 are pretty positive overall. DX14 did have the complaining 'this shouldn't be a DX' etc etc but everyone thinks it looks great.

Robocop and ED-209 received great responses too. Except for the complaints about it not being all inclusive for the full BD look and Weller's exposed face.

Yeah true, DX08, 09 were very well received, this seems bigger though doesn't it. I personally love the DX14 but compared to this it was like getting an empty DX box?

This one has everything going for it, 2 sculpts, both amazing, fantastic PERS, light function, alternate clothing, arm pieces, and a load of accessories. Similar to Sparrow as a mind blowing overall package.
I'm hoping Robo will be just as impressive, keeping my eye on the EB 1/4 as well for that.

Oh you've gone for a SWAT version on the left by the looks of it. No knee battle-damage at that point. I'll be doing that.

Did he have so much chest damage during the swat scene. I may need to pop in the DVD.

Also, you rightly said, that chrome not being there on endo parts is bothering me a lot as well. Also the paint / makeup look in the movie had a feel that he was rammed by steel, rolled onto the floor, a bit of a blood + external accumulation feeling. the paint look on the figure is like his face was scratched by a ninja sword and all red and orange as a slice would be. Just my thoughts.
