I can't unsee it now. But this could be fixable, a mere matter of paint. Well, not ideal without the hair actually sculpted but you'd have to really study it up close to see where hair was just painted onto skin.

I'm just not confident in my ability to match the hair colour and make it fainter right on the hairline like HT do.

You can do it man :yess: I'm leaving my hs alone though :lol

On a minor downside I did find something off with the hairline on his temples (or rather just his left temple since he's BDed on the other side). The hair doesn't come in far enough into his temple above the eyebrow level. Damn, if I could adjust that by adding in some extra hair paint....

I actually think this might be contributing to the wideness some people have seen on the semi-BD sculpt.

Adev... On a lighter note... Are you married? and more importantly how? You must date Kate Beckinsale to not find any flaw in her ;) ... Or may be Kate's nose is a bit too tweaky so you dumped her... Lol...

I might buy a head for experimentation one day. Swear to god its just this one thing. I don't think there's anything else I'd change with these sculpts now. Something like the hairline is a pretty consistent and definitive aspect to Arnie's (or anyone's) likeness that will either be objectively wrong or objectively correct on a sculpt. In this case its a little wrong. If I could correct it I would be more happy with a sculpt than I've ever been outside of Enterbay's BD version.

When it comes to the face you'll never get a sculpt to encompass every possible scenario, every possible expression. There comes a time where there's just no point complaining if your figure doesn't exactly match a given screengrab. I think the likeness to Arnie on these 2 sculpts has reached that point. You could make a change to suit one screengrab but you've ****ed it up for another screengrab of a different scene where he appears to look different so why bother. It just looks like Arnie, fullstop. So I'm pretty sure I would leave the faces well alone even if it was within my ability to change them. Its just the hairline, which as I said, could simply be a matter of paint.

I still don't think pics, even the best ones, do this figure complete justice.

The eyes and the paint look better than they are photographing. I just noticed the faint stubble work, which in person, doesn't just look like a bunch of dots. He also does not look unnaturally shiny/waxy in person IMO.

I will know soon enough hopefully tomorrow. I wonder if the sculpt hairline problem you're referring too might be because of PERS where they had to cut the head. Maybe because the way the hair is sculpted and the BD they had to mold to the face.

IDK I won't see until I get in my hand.:dunno

I'm really not very discriminatory :lol

Sculpting and adding hair is a reasonably easy fix, got any clear pics to show what you mean? I'm not enough of a T2 nerd to pic out the problems, other licenses.. yes, I love Terminator, but for some reason I don't fuss over the details like I do with other stuff. :lol

No, that wouldn't have any bearing on the location I'm talking about.

Sorry about my crude attempt to point to where I'm talking about but:

The hair in that area should cut in more towards the forehead. That it doesn't on the figure kinda makes the forehead/temples too wide in the frontal view. Only on that side of the head though because the other side is battledamaged and his hairline is altered there anyway.

I'm not at home so I can't cross ref that with the figure, but I will at w.end when I'm back.

A-dev is becoming the Nolan fan equivalence for Terminator fans.

Gooood, gooood. Everything is preceding as I have foreseen

"oh look doctor, he's so happy he's crying :lol

:lol:lol:lol

Awesome shots, fiend :clap

Man I was one keystroke away from pulling the trigger on this guy -- guess I'm just a T1 guy, waiting for the ICONIC T1 Police Station version with light up eye.

Okay, my mistake, I'll see for myself in hand but I think some paint could fix that.

The DX10 may actually be a little more accurate in this small area (as roughly circled in green in first pic)^

Here's other pics of Arnie which I hope demonstrate what I'm talking about:

You can even kinda see it there^ the way it cuts in more than it does on the figure.

A-dev is the T2: Intothevoid. Speaking of which, where is void. I miss him in the DC threads.

Yeah I seem to be. But with this figure I think we are literally hairs away from perfection, with Joker and Batman they want to change just about everything.

Thanks for the reminder to tell my wife and all female relatives to stay well clear of Bray. :lol

Its all internal. Course I don't do pelvic thrusts as they walk past :lol Your wife and female relatives could visit Bray safe in the assurance that I would only be mentally letching at them behind a serene face.

Hey guys, I just got my waitlist converted! I placed my order on August 18th-20th I think. Anyone else get their email?

Regarding the head sculpt, yup, I think I see what you mean. Regarding the mental letching and pelvic thrusting at strangers.... terrifying. :lol
