I will say that despite not caring for the figure, the base and backdrop are awesome. I'll be buying those for my 89 display.
I'll be interested to see how that looks but I really like it as is.
As for buying the head seperately, feckin Joker head always cost a small fortune by themselves. EBAYers know of DC fans willingness to be raped in the wallet.
Yeah, looking at it again today I still really like the sculpt. If I can get it for under $200 shipped, I'll probably buy.

I'll be honest, though. I've always loved the Uncle Bingo look, and, the more I see this thing, the more I want it. It looks ****ing spectacular.

He's gonna look great with harley quinn cant stop seeing the alex ross art joker cover with this one. I may have to pick up xtra parts to make 2 later on.

he looks very cool. i personally love surprises. and anytime a new hot toys figure pics are revealed ,its an exciting event. doesnt mean i buy them all but theres more pleasure to collecting than just buying. who am i kidding. ill get him lol

He really needs color in the surrounding display to make him "pop." In the movie, there was color in the rest of the scene and characters. In that latest pic, there's a bit of color around, even with just the Bat-logo behind his head, so it works.
But the absence of color in those first prototype pics make the black and white look very boring.
Not a problem for me, as I have plenty of colorful characters - he'll look especially nice next to purple coat Jack Joker. But just something collectors and photographers should be aware of when posing this guy by his lonesome.

Am I the only one that still likes those Prince songs. They're part of the nostalgia for me. I cut and pasted them into the Danny Elfman score.
