Most of this was already made back when they made DX08. It's a cash grab for sure, but it is also beautiful.

Most Batman and Iron Man figures are cash grabs (might change "most" to "all" when it comes to Iron Man :lol)

Would have been better as a rare convention exclusive.
People would have gone mental and paid a fortune if this was a hard to get exclusive.

But as a full blown release? I wouldn't worry about pre-ordering because I think these are going to be around for a looooong time.

They might not be making that many anyway. There are a few figures like this that Freaks have said would be around awhile but HT did not make many more than the PO's.

I will say this, it sort of bothers me when I have more of a variety (as in options and looks) of one character over another, especially when they're counter parts. In this case it's the bad guy (the Joker) over the good guy (Batman).

It's probably just me, but it sort of messes up my display when I've got more of one over the other. There isn't a balance. I've had this problem with the TDK Joker and TDK Batman as well as the Terminator and T-1000.

In the back of my mind I'm hoping they pull a battle damaged Batman or Returns armor out of their *** before this guy hits just so my displays are balanced out.

I am WAY more a Joker fan than a Batman fan. I have multiple jokers and only two Batman figures. So it's WAY out of balance but I like it.

They've never released a Bale Bruce Wayne figure, so I doubt they'd do Keaton's Bruce Wayne. They had that whole thing where "regular suits are boring".

But man would it be cool to own the Batsuit/weapons armory with a Bruce Wayne in the black turtle neck and jeans. That vault has been on my wishlist since the DX 09 Batman figure went up for order. His gadgets are BEGGING to be stored on the compartment door.

Whenever this '89 line ends officially, here's what I'd like to see,

- Battle Damaged Batman (properly done with a mean, grimacing scowl)

- the suit/armory vault

- Museum/Mob Joker

- Bruce Wayne

- Bob the goon

I'd say the Batwing but that would just be impractical. :lol

I think you can file Bruce Wayne and Bob the Goon alongside T2 John Connor and T1 80s hair Sarah Connor respectively on the chart of unlikelihood.

The original Batman came with a battle damaged (bleeding) face anyway. There wasn't really anymore battle damage than that in the first move. What else would they show? Dirt?

They'll be saving the Keaton sculpt for the Returns figure and most likely the glider wing cape accessory.

If it wasn't for Coulson, the Avengers would not have assembled.

If the Avengers had not assembled, there would have been no movie.

If the was no movie, Hot Toys would be out of some Iron Man figures.

Are you kidding? He looks like he went through hell and back.

That goofy faceplate doesn't cut it in my opinion. That thing has remained in the box since day one.

Helloooooooooooo?????

Batman's butler, do not want.

He's not toyetic or action figure worthy enough. Sorry Alfred.

Alfred, Vicki, Knox, Shreck, Caine Alfred, Rachel Dawes, Fox, Blake, etc. etc. don't deserve figures in my opinion. Though a Christopher Walken would be all kinds of cool.

I'm having a hard time remembering exactly. What else is there besides the bloody face? His suit is a bit dirty maybe but that's about all I remember. Doesn't seem worth an additional figure to me.

Shrapnel in his face, more caked blood, gouged cowl, cut up suit, burned bat symbol, holes in cape, etc. He never made that goofy open mouth face either, he always looked angry.

Yep. This I want. The slightly bloody mouthpiece definitely isn't enough.

However he did make that exact facial expression the moment he exited the wrecked Batwing but that's the only time and it was for a split second. Why Ht chose that exact moment is strange.

Even stranger is the fact that they didn't give him a scowl face despite never looking like a happy camper 99.9% of the time throughout the film.
