I think Bane and Jack's Joker are not comparable. I enjoy having Joker for the sake of him being iconing, but Bane is more menacing and of course more 21 century lol

True. But I did mean from a single figure stand point.

I just hope Hot Toys somehow got the message through everyone's griping (about wanting pretty much every version EXCEPT this one) and sales aren't completely terrible so we can still get a Mob and/or Museum version down the line. That would be a real shame if this is the last version of the Joker because Hot Toys is the only chance we got when it comes to officially licensed product.

It just wouldn't make sense to never see that creepy *** flesh toned make up on atleast one release. It's pretty much a key look to the character in the film.

I have a feeling the flesh makeup look might come off as just toyish on the shelf.

Other than the regular version we already got, I think the Mime is gonna be the show stealer on the shelf.

I'd really like the mob meeting /flesh tone look but a museum with flesh tone and melty face sculpt would be just as welcome. The flesh tone could be a non-PERS sculpt.

Yeah, museum Joker is the one I'm looking forward to.

Museum and mob meeting joker both had flesh coloured make up on didn't they? If so I'd prefer Museum out of those two with an extra water splashed headsculpt.

I'd also like a Napier figure, basically just to have a straight up Jack Nicholson sculpt.

Amen to that a-dev.

And to be honest I would like a sculpt and clothes set of the young Jack Napier.

Maybe a two figure Jack Napier release?

For all those unfamiliar US fans...and some UK fans too I'd guess, the young Jack Napier was played by a clever fellow called Hugo Blick, who was actor, director and co-writer of "Operation Good Guys" a comedy 'fly-on-the-wall' series about an elite police team. He played 'Smiler' McCarthy.

'Why, VintijDroidGutzz, you oughta think about the future' :lol

I personally can't wait for this figure and hopefully the '89 line continues.

No I'd love to own it - I'm amongst the BM89 die hards here, it's just that I plan my purchases around most to least important - not by HT announcement schedule.. if that makes sense. :lol

Some of my 'most wanteds' are still at carrot dangle status as of now. :gah:

I hope so too. I just hope that too many people passing on this doesnt cause hot toys to ditch the line. I want my museum sculpt joker.

Im def getting this but wont be able til Dec but for sure am getting it!!!

I think a Jack Napier figure would be a tough sell on it's own to be honest. Now if they did a museum version of Joker with the smeared makeup head sculpt and alternate clean Jack head sculpt or possibly a figure from when he first became Joker wearing his trench coat and hat and stuff and included a regular Jack sculpt I could see.

I don't think so. If they got the tones and washes right, I'm sure they could pull it off without making it look toyish. It'd also be a good second chance for them to try and get the hat right.

The mob look is the most intimidating and sinister look he has in the film, as far as I'm concerned. That permanent grin he has is really unsettling with the flesh toned make up. I don't know if it was the intention, but he looks like a friggin' corpse. I love that POV shot of all the mobsters looking at him from the table and then when we finally see him he's all wild eyed. It's also the most unique with those pinstripes. It's really the only suit that has pinstripes (a signature for the Joker) and that low brim fedora in the right lighting would look sick.

I'd also say that as far as accessories and key scenes go, nothing tops the joybuzzer.

I actually would have been totally cool if that's how he looked in the entire movie, even without the bleached acid skin and hair.

Would I buy Museum Joker? Sure. But I have 90% of that look already with the regular DX 08's cane/magic stick, shoes, pants, body, vest, tie, shirt, gloves, etc. I'm not sure a flesh tone headsculpt, beret and artist tie would be worth the $220 they'd charge. Unless they did this, plus pants,

I don't think HT would have a problem with that flesh tone at all. :dunno

I love the mob meeting looking. And I agree, it easiest the most unsettling looking, its creepy. And the pinstripe would look awesome I think.

The mob meeting version of Jack is cool but I dunno. To me it just doesn't have the same appeal as a normal Joker figure I guess. It feels like something that would be better served as an add on to me. I do agree that the museum look while cool was largely done, so who knows maybe that won't be done. Still though that's one of the movie's most iconic moments and that head sculpt would be pretty cool. It's too bad that Hot Toys didn't include a melted makeup head sculpt and some of the museum scene accessories with the DX08.

Another option that Hot Toys could go for could be the Axis Chemicals look with the Jack Napier look prior to falling in the vat of chemicals and also include the first full reveal appearance of Joker when he shoots Grissom.

I actually think that this is one of the most frightening pictures of The Joker there has ever been. The insane grin and just the merest hint of deadly eyes....like a wild animal's in the dark.

And this, Fabby, is one of the best presented 'wish list' items ever, that and your 'Adams style' '89 HT Batman.

We can but dream, but I know I'd be into it as an immediate PO. Did you put it onto their FB page, if not, do you mind If I do?
