My account page on SSC shows this, and HT's own site still has him as 4th quarter of this year, but this is Hot Toys we are talking about.

It might be possible. i don't recall a lot of pre-ordering statue figures that was before the Mime Joker. The recent batch of unreleased figures are starting to hit (RE Ada Wong, 1:4 TDKT). And I'm pretty sure Hot Toys had this figure in mind pretty much from day 1 when they decided to pay the buckets of coins that Jack Nicholson demanded. So they probably wouldn't take long to produce this figure.

It looks excessive but it's also a very close up pic of a 1/6 scale face. What other figure in hand has too much texturing?

True. But I did mean from a single figure stand point.


I just hope Hot Toys somehow got the message through everyone's griping (about wanting pretty much every version EXCEPT this one) and sales aren't completely terrible so we can still get a Mob and/or Museum version down the line. That would be a real shame if this is the last version of the Joker because Hot Toys is the only chance we got when it comes to officially licensed product.

It just wouldn't make sense to never see that creepy *** flesh toned make up on atleast one release. It's pretty much a key look to the character in the film.

I know he didn't appear in this outfit much but I don't see why this version is less desired than other looks I guess. The scene is brief but it's always stuck out to me and is one of my favorite parts of Burton's Batman. I agree the museum scene would be cool though, they could do the normal Jack look and the smeared makeup look.

I'd really like the mob meeting /flesh tone look but a museum with flesh tone and melty face sculpt would be just as welcome. The flesh tone could be a non-PERS sculpt.

I haven't ordered it...yet. Ill hold out a few months and see how this goes. The last Jack Joker fell well below retail a few months after its release.

I am looking forward to seeing in hand pics and early video reviews "though.

I'm guessing they won't be making nearly as many of these as regular Jack Joker. They must have produced record amounts of him due to fan base and the amount of overpriced customs that were sold over the years.

Oh yeah, that's something I've considered too but I still want to hold out just in case. If I don't see it drop like the other one I'm sure I wont have a problem getting one at retail.
