Says the monkey who wants more Iron man and Avengers Hot Toys. I don't consider Nolans Bats apart of DC because its not. Its Nolans universe, no connection to other super hero movies, which was a HUGE mistake for Warners and pompous Nolan!

Seriously? By that logic, show me the connection of Reeve Superman or Keaton's Batman to any other superhero movie---including each other!

Uh, let's see:

DX01: Ledger Joker (DC)
DX02: Bale Batman (DC)
DX08: Nicholson Joker (DC)
DX09: Keaton Batman (DC)
DX11: Ledger Joker (DC)
DX12: Bale Batman (DC)

Were you, by any chance, incapacitated, in some way, from March 2009 to August 2011, and, again, from June 2012 to May of 2013? If so, that would certainly help in informing the mind boggling oversight I've just witnessed.
well said brother. Don't forget the DX14: Mime Joker (DC) though

Burton Batman and Nolan Batman movies aren't DC movies. No connections. That's why they don't have any DX figures, er, something.

Schumacher Batman movies are DC movies. "Circus is half way to Metropolis by now", "This is why Superman works alone". That's why they have no high end figures.

The strange thing is that I actually included it in the dates (May 2013), yet I forgot to add it to the list. It's ironic because there's an oversight in my pointing out oversights.:lol

So superman is Richard Donner's universe and Superman II is half Richard Donner's universe and half Richard Lester's universe, not DC's. Batman and Batman Returns are Tim Burton's universe, not DC's. Therefore Burton's universe has a DX figure, not DC. Hmm, I think the forum must need more subsections.

I actually think non-DX figures are better since those PERS could break over time and leave the figure with wonky eyes :(
Besides, I think the non-PERS headsculpts have better realism with them painted eyes.

The Man of Steel line wasn't DX, but I think it's the best line from the DC movie universe so far.
Supes, Zod and Jor-El all look fantastic!

Any news when this is getting released???

Well from what we have seen in the past, seeing as how we saw the prototype in mid-2014, if they actually release this figure, we can expect a late 2016 to early 2017 minimum. That is usually the time to go from production into someones hands: 2 to 2 and a half years.

Remember that is if they rush it and its minimum. I would expect three maybe four years 2018, 2019 is my guess.

well they screw that up. Xmas was my best guess and before the year ended seemed like a no brainer since we still are in the anniversary. Maybe we could be wrong, there still a couple of days left in the year but I'm we'll see those avengers figures that every needs (sarcastic tone).

2 to 2 and a half years?
Batman Armory: Solicited December 2013, shipped October 2014.
The Winter Soldier: Solicited March 2014, shipped November 2014.
Batman & Robin: Solicited September 2013, shipped April 2014.

Where the hell are you getting your info?

You are talking about official press releases, preorder to being in someones hands. I am talking about seeing a prototype, and then it will go sometime in 2015 or 2016 to press release, preorder, then being in our hands late in that year or 2017.

Those dates again refer to seeing it on facebook and then being in someones hands. We have yet to get any official word on Batman Keaton Returns on there facebook page or anything, just a prototype.

Again, though, where are you getting this stuff about late 2016 to early 2017, and now 2018 and 2019? Assuming it goes up sometime in the next 6 months, it would be a Q2 2016 release max, and, with their current releases, it indicates that the figure would, potentially, release closer to Q4 2015. I don't see us waiting another year for official specs +pics, when there's already a finished prototype. The only way I could possibly see that happening is if they wanted to pull a DX 08/DX 09 scenario, where they put all three up at the same time and hold him back until Catwoman and Penguin are finished.

The only releases that ever take years from the prototype are vehicles, and, even then, 4 years is somewhat rare (the '66 Batmobile, if we get it, will probably have taken about that much time from its first appearance at SDCC in 2012 to when we get it in our hands).

The prototype for Icabod was revealed many years ago and only recently was a official announcement given. Four years from prototype to fully released figure seems to be about right. And again that's if its high priority. No doubt for the new Avengers figures they began working on them as soon as they got the designs from Marvel. Personally, if they do decide to make this, it will be released sometime in 2018, maybe 2019, same time as Avengers: Infinity War Part II
