How can you be pretty sure? :lol

I bet they release the specs when it suits them - no sooner.

Just a guess.... I never known a HT figure to take more than 4 or so months from reveal at a con to go up for pre-order. Most of the time it's with in a couple months.

Charles Xavier?

Lone Ranger??

I have not studied this suit so closely before. Now with these great pictures. I may say i like Returns suit better than the original.

I can't believe there're only those 2 pics from Taiwan... 20000 pics of Nolan stuff...

Looks like he's in a case by himself. Are there accessories and weapons at his feet? I see a card for it.

Man really wish they would of took better pics of him showing his whole body...

By the way, I'm sure the suit is rubber, just take a look at its legs, they're 100% rubber.

Need a clear picture of them boots. Good thing they removed the velcro. Who would have known that the big bat, could not tie his own shoelaces :lol

Ab section looks hard plastic. A possible combination of two materials maybe?

That is what I am saying it looks completely hard, it has a plastic look to it, the way it shines and lights reflects of it.

That's why he have tons of iron man figs, them guys over here take 10,000 pictures of those figures but to them they probably think the batman returns suit is the same as the 1989, so they are like yeah sure same suit no need for new pics

It's not and now that that trilogy has ended I can actually accept him more as a different type of Batman. It was annoying me for some reason that kids were going to grow up thinking that was Batman. On the other hand, now there are going to be so many movie batmen to choose from, it kind of takes the magic away from all of them imo. I guess that was inevitable. I always assumed they would come much farther apart.

It's a generational thing. Just think, there will be 11-year-old boys growing up thinking Ben Affleck is THE definitive Batman.

I don't think there is "the" batman. There may be one you personally consider "the" batman. But to say Keaton's is " the" and Bales isn't is only opinion. It comes before it chronologically, outside of that it's all subjective. For my grandparents it's Adam West that's "the " batman. Same for my parents. I grew up with Keaton. But also two other actors played batman just as many times in my youth(clooney and Kilmer). One I really hated, the other was ok. But for me I prefer the bale movies. But still love the Keaton version. From what I've seen of the DOJ batman it will be pretty good(having been able to do a little work on the shoot hasn't hurt either). But it's all subjective. All opinion. I think it's best to celebrate the character.

Personally, I consider the concept of Batman "the definitive iteration" of the character. I try my best to embrace all of the interpretations of the character (Batman & Robin, I try my best to see as a "glass half full," in that it's unintentionally hilarious, and, in a different world, perhaps it could've been an awesome movie (Clooney as Batman in a story that is based (albeit loosely, in our dimension) on the "Heart of Ice" episode of Batman: The Animated Series.? That sounds amazing!).

The point is, I view Batman as a work of art; and each iteration of the character is simply the work of art being shown in a different light. Therefore, I cherish the Adam West interpretation of the character as much as the Animated Series version, or the Burton and Nolan versions.

If they were to hand out a prize for the best batman movie(s), it has to go to Burton`s. Those was gone trough with artistically perfection. The dark, gritty future/fantasy world of Furst and Burton is perfect for their character`s. To use their imagination and put the world of batman in fantasy, that`s a challenge.
Like that better, than the Nolan`s which were put in more or less a real-life world. And Schumacher was just a mess.
Still maybe a matter of opinion, but Burton kicks Nolans *** at that theme.

As batfan said they have all been set in a different light. But showing a whole new world and just not story or characters, that got to get an extra standing ovation.

I think Burton's movies were more important from a batman and genre perspective. The darkness of the storytelling was original in its day for such a mainstream pop culture phenomenon. Without Batman '89, there is no Nolan trilogy. That being said, I think the Nolan movies are better from a batman mythos view, as well as having better overall rewatchability.

I agree with everything
