I guess you missed DC/WB's list of upcoming DC films? They have a whole slew of them planned after BvS. I agree with you, but they do have a schedule it seems, whether they'll fulfill it or not is up in the air.

For 20 years people said that Nicholson Joker would never be topped and that there shouldn't be a new Joker. Ledger came along and everyone hated the idea, the love for Nicholson was even stronger. Then, Ledger blew everyone away. If BvS is a success and the solo movies planned for Affleck Batman come to fruition, you can bet there will be a new Joker by a new actor. Sure, people will ***** and moan "but Heath was teh best", but that didn't stop them from the jump between Nicholson and Ledger.

As for dolls, I don't think anyone really cares. Ledger Joker sells? There's a demand to meet? Then explain that Bank Robber Joker that's not selling on Sideshow. It's been warming their inventory for months? The Donner Superman and Burton Batman films used to be hailed as "teh greats" with their "top 10 box office draws" and they got swept away so to speak (even though there's been a revival). Nolan Batman and the Avengers aren't even a decade old yet, it's only a matter of time before they're ancient history. I remember when Raimi Spider-Man was a big deal for years, look what happened with that.

If what you say is true, what the hell happened with James Cameron's Avatar? That was a big deal a few years ago right? Huge box office draw then . . . . it was over. Nobody really cares. The merch doesn't sell, nobody really talks about it, it just sort of faded away.

Yes, I have seen it. Where were all the Batman and Superman solo movies you claimed were happening? I do not see any of those on the schedule?

So if... IF there is a new Joker it would not be until 2020 probably later.

Also, you clearly misread my original post. I said with all the superhero movies coming out Hot Toys will have a lot more figures to make. To meet these figure demands (not the Joker, OTHER figures like Star Wars, DC, Marvel characters) Hot Toys will expand to meet the demands.

Now of course there is a demand for another Joker release in his classic attire, not the bank robber or the nurse, look at the dx11 prices.

Clearly other top box office draws are "ancient history." Yuuup.... Star Wars, Gone With The Wind, Titantic.... "ancient history."

Nolan Batman and Avengers merchandise are still selling well. There is a demand for it. Look at the prices of the figures... they are insane.

WB confirmed that “stand-alone Batman and Superman films” will debut between 2016-2020 along with some Lego Batman Movie crap. It's at the end of those lists.

Also, I don't think a more expensive figure means that the there is demand for something. That's just the companies being greedy. The prices on EVERYTHING are insane. If this DX 15 Batman comes out tomorrow, and it's $315, does that mean Batman Returns is in huge demand and that the merchandise will sell well? No, it means that it's price gouged because these guys think they can get that much coin.

I was referring to ebay prices. That is (to me) a true dictator towards demand. The DX 2.0 sells for nearly double of what the original release price was.

But as you said, anymore Hot Toys new release prices are becoming insane. Hopefully this DX15 stays below $300.

Also, I apologize, I did not see the Bats Sups solo movies at the end of the schedule.

The first page brings good news to '66 Bat-fans (and those waiting for the '66 Batmobile) as well as Liam Neeson fans, but this page of the latest interview is kind of a bummer for the Returns franchise (and Faora).

I think people are calling it quits a bit too soon. If they see that there's money to be made with Keaton, they may bump that "yet" into action.

At least this means Batman will not be delayed because they're waiting on finishing the others first. Not that it doesn't mean he won't be delayed for other reasons, but we can at least rule out that possibility.

What's happening here?HT doesn't make the penguin and catwoman and even neca changes the original head sculpt which was so great.The complete returns line is really disappointing to me .

Hot Toys should be careful about disappointing the Catwoman fans--Tweeterhead is coming out with a 1/6 Pfeiffer Catwoman statue sculpted by Trevor Grove. If I don't hear confirmation of a Hot Toys Catwoman before that statue hits, I'll just buy the statue and not bother with a Hot Toys version. The statue will certainly capture her body better anyway, and she'll look just fine on the shelf next to my DX09 Keaton Batman.
