Glad to hear thatSideshow says my Dx19 is arriving soon woohoo!
That's pretty good! Only thing missing is the light reflection on his eyes.
My mistake. Didn't read carefully. Thought you were asking between just the DX12 and Armory. Would defer to OT_Customs_ post below.I know the DX19 is superior in every way, but between that and the DX/12/Armory, which one feels more solid or durable in hand?
DX19 for sure. The armory figures have delicate arms and the leg armor is prone to creasing. The new figure feels like you’d have to try to break it.I know the DX19 is superior in every way, but between that and the DX/12/Armory, which one feels more solid or durable in hand?
Nope boots are new too. They have a better shape and has more shine on the sides. The commonly held idea that this figure was "90% re-used" evaporated pretty quickly. Aside from the accessories (which are admittedly re-used), it seems like it's actually 90% new. The suit was heavily revised, the body is new, the cape is new, the headsculpt is new (to this scale, anyway). That leaves us with re-used gauntlets and gloves and... Maybe boots? And that seems like about it.
I'll stick to visible "parts" that require tooling rather than the body and undersuit since those would pretty much have to be new to change the height. The commonly held idea that this figure was "90% re-used" evaporated pretty quickly. Interesting, appreciate the breakdown.I'll stick to visible "parts" that require tooling rather than the body and undersuit since those would pretty much have to be new to change the height.
Here's everything that's the same:
- Magnetic neck
- Bruce Wayne neck cover
- Traps and back of armor (Has a new chest plate on front only)
- Shoulder pads and collar kevlar
- Bicep plates
- Gauntlets
- Hands
- All torso armor including back, sides, and abs
- Belt (some reuse/repaint of the DX12/Armory belt with glued on accessories)
- Knee pads
What's new:
- Heads
- Chest plate
- Leg plates
- Boots
It's kind of hard to measure but I'd say its at least 60% reused parts. The only surprise was the new chest plate.
Ditto....and I'm a Star Wars collectorJust got my shipping soon email from SS. Gotta say, this is the most excited I've been about getting a HT fig I've been in years.
