They don't have clips they have fabric tabs that push down into the chest. They're very secure and I use the tab to pull a bunch of material together closely so it has a nice amount of bulk and wrinkles around the collar.

In case anyone is wondering what the DX19 head looks like on the DX12 body:

If you have the DX12 it might be worth just getting the DX19 head, even though the body looks much better on the 19.

Zero reason to PO any Hot Toys figure in this day and age. Doesn't help that Sideshow seems to pick and choose at random who gets shipped out in the first batch. Just wait until the figure is in-stock if you don't mind waiting a bit more.

Eh, IDK. If you know you want this figure why not just PO it now? It's not like it will get discounted or anything. It is also Batman, HT Batman sells out in my experience.

This figure’s proportions really make a big difference over the DX12/Armory. It just looks like a person in a suit rather than a toy.

Eh, IDK. If you know you want this figure why not just PO it now? It's not like it will get discounted or anything. It is also Batman, HT Batman sells out in my experience.

Agreed want to be able to do them right first time.

Agreed on Preorder this Batman is already shipping at SS just in batches so the wait won't be to bad just pay it off or if you have money ready just leave it as single payment they will contact you when it's ready. Batman sells out so this might definitely not be up for long once in stock.

Has anyone tried using a DX12 face plate with DX19? Specifically, I was looking back at shots of my DX02 and most often, I used the closed lip, angry mouth plate from that one, and I know DX12 has one like it, but all of DX19's have the lips open to some extent, would like to know if they'd work to see about looking for one off eBay.

I got a Gordon SWAT today and I’ve got to say the DX19 scales much better with characters Batman should be taller than. The DX12 scaled okay with Bane, Joker, and Dent and characters that should be around the same height but the shorter characters were always too tall in comparison. Honestly seems like Hot Toys is trying to make individual characters a proper height going forward rather than a one size fits all height across a line.

I did the same but I blew my money on the bat pod hahaha, i sold my DX 12 but I still have my armory batman, I’m still tied up with these batman monthly fees from sideshow so i’m hoping to snatch this up a bit later, hopefully it doesn’t sell out anytime soon.

I wonder though since hot toys teased the Dark Knight Rises armory if they would throw another batman body in the mix, now I’m split on buying it or waiting
