I really really really like the packaging for this figure.

I'm kinda Snake-Eyes'ed out, so I didn't order this version. I may pick up some of the swords on TA though.

I love Snake-Eyes. He's absolutely my favorite character (not just GI Joe) period and has been since 1982.

But you, my friend, are mistaken on two counts:

1) Snake-Eyes isn't Asian

Congrats, man. Did you get first stock? Can't wait to see your pics and thoughts about the figure once you have it on hand. I think HT SE is one of those figures that you'd unbox, place some weapons on his hands, pose, then display -- no mods needed. The only thing it lacks is an extra SMG.

Bought it yesterday after I woke up and saw it was out (just really late in posting about it LOL), I guess it might be first stock, his supply was like 5 of 12 when I bought it making it 6 of 12.

It'll be at least a week before it's in hand, but yeah he looks like one of those figures you can just pull out, pose, put on the shelf, and then re-pose a lot when you get the itch to buy another figure. Might try to get another SMG down the line, but he comes with enough to cover most looks, also might look into a grenade belt just to appease the little boy in me...

So this is the figure that Hot Toys nails! I wish they had done this good of a job on The Amazing Spider-Man or The Avengers Captain America but it does look sweet. Maybe they will nail Superman if they get around to releasing it. Nah, it will end up being Tonto that they get completely right next.

You were able to order from them? They either got more on order or people cancelled it, it was sold out for a while now on there. I have had mine on order with them immediately after it went up.
