Im going to say near $200. The real hair must be very labor intensive. Hopefully HT will do this as a long term line and release them sort of like SS GI JOE, 1 per quarter.

38 or so. Basically, as much as (or more than) Sideshow's figures... but the key is that they look and pose much more naturally.

I still think that General Ursus should have been THE first premium format figure for Sideshow, even though Dr. Zaius was still a good choice.

This General Ursus has brought me to my knees. I kowtow to Hot Toys!!

Yeah, the TV gorilla surprised the heck out of me. I figured looking at the tease pics that they would unveil two gorillas... General Ursus and one of his lackies. I even thought that they might be riding horses.

Could a Hot Toys horse be far behind?

That Ursus is absolutely stunning... looking at that figure is like looking at a still from the film.

And yeah, I'm happy with Sideshow's pic for their first PF.

But I have one question, what is the gorilla on the left (the movie soldier) have around his waist? It looks like a purple sash.

Really? I can't imagine them being any more expensive than the IM Mark 1. At least that's what I hope.

Yup don't see these going for more than the Mark 1.

Mark 1 HK preorder price is around US$147
POTA preorder price is around US$100

I'm guessing a markup of around $20 so $119.99 is my guess.

$119 is do-able, but I don't think it will be that low. If it is, I would get all three. If not I'm only getting Ursus until I can scrape up enough chimpchange.

$100 US comes to about 9,000 Japanese yen. There's no way I'll get that lucky. If so, I'd be buying multiples with a crazed look in my eyes like Brent had!
