Just received mine very impressed, really tempted to do a sherlock holmes on the strength of the sculpt.

Along with the over scaled hands/fingers and the inaccurate belt studs...the biggest let down 'for me' is the hair color...it's more 50's,60's Cushing than 70's Tarkin Cushing so i decided to repaint it to look something a little more accurate to the movie...and the prototype..View attachment 395288
looks great. what type of paint brush did you use to get the lines like that.

That is very impressive paint work. How good does that scuplt look even in isolation from the rest of the figure? It really is impressive, and the stock HT paint app on the skin is excellent too.

Yeah, nicely done. Did you just take a paint brush and lightly apply the grey paint to the raised hairsculpt ridges, or did you do more than that like an overall wash as well?

The HT hair color situation is becoming a bit silly. TFA Han with gold hair, ANH Luke with copper hair and both ANH Hans with black hair. Even Leia - again - having black (or very, very dark brown) hair instead of brown.

Just funny that they'd give Tarkin old man hands to match that gaunt elderly face but not include a bit of silver fox on the sides/temples.:lol

Together at last. I have the first release Darth Vader. I prefer the helmet weathering on this one.
