Just got these guys. Always wanted them, but never pulled the trigger. The detail on Groot is insane! Well worth the price alone!

Nice Ptapang !!! I also picked them up this year reduced. Just waiting on Starlord Vol2 to almost finalise the group. Haven't pulled the trigger on Drax in the hope they do go with a modified upper body for IW 1&2 and GotG 3.

I live in hope.

What a great looking pair this is. Groot is just awesome. So many details in the sculpt, and the articulation is good as well. I like Rocket better than I thought I would. Such a nice little figure. I would’ve wanted the Vol. 2 Deluxe version, but I do like the orange jumpsuit on this a little more anyway.

Awesome Indy you're one step ahead of me having your Star Lord with the gang. (Groot, Rocket and Gamora are waiting for their leader .

The Vol 1 Rocket holds up pretty well in my opinion. I also like the weathered orange suit and the grimace on his face is a nice compromise IMO. (not a fan of the open mouth Vol2 sculpt personally, although if you are going for the "on the shoulder look" of course it fits, but otherwise it's a bit too much). Groot of course is great. Such great variation and shelf presence having him towering over the group.

I'm guessing we'll get a teenage version in the next movies, which is also cool, however the fully grown is still my favourite.

Thanks! Other than the staining with Vol 2 Star-Lord that some are having, he’s still a fantastic figure. You’ll have fun posing them as a group!

I agree even after the Vol 2 Rocket, this one still holds up. Great outfit and blaster. The yelling sculpt on the new one looks great as well for action poses, but I’m gonna have to stick with just this one for now.

Both Groot and Rocket definitely aren’t your typical figures, so they do add some unique variety in a display. [emoji106]

Go for it man ! These two are gold. Rocket still holds up, and full size Groot just has great shelf presence and will never age ! Just such a unique figure.

Yep, my plan is also the full team (although I'm going with Starlord Vol2 just a better sculpt and deluxe accessories are stellar). Also Yondu and am waiting on a better bulkier Drax. Which may or may not happen.....fingers crossed.

Pretty much the exact same figure. But I will say that the rocket pack (he's Rocket Racoon after all) and the screaming head sculpt really put the V2 ahead by a mile.

Just purchased the exclusive set on eBay for $365 shipped. I know some bidding has ended under $300 shipped but when I want something I gotta get it now. Plus I used the 8% eBay cash back, so I'll be getting $27 and some change back. As for the new rocket, I'll most likely get the infinity war set with teenage groot.
