I agree! I got him because I like how his colors looked "shinier". It sets him apart from the classic Spider-Man look.
Mine will be here Friday. I'm over the suit creasing and the fact that it's not diecast or plastic but after seeing the Alita figure it hurts again. This figure should have gotten that treatment. Oh well
I’d say it looks more like a latex or rubber suit. Spandex isn’t as shiny.

What’s so special abt the Alita body?
Because I was excited to get a spidey that we could pose without worrying about damaging the suit. We could have gotten and accurate neck (more like the ironman figures with skin exposed) and it would have looked better in my opinion. Posing this figure causes it to bunch up pretty bad and its unsightly sometimes. Seems like out of all the infinity war figures, Iron Spidey got the short end of the stick. Not tryna start an argument but could you imagine a cloth MK50? That's what this figure feels like.
I have a feeling that a plastic or diecast Spiderman would look cheap. They can get away with it with Iron Man since he's honestly more like a robot in both range of movement and appearance. Spidey is super flexible. I imagine it wouldn't be easy to give him that much articulation while hiding the articulation points that look ugly. But I don't know much about engineering figures soooo
Also, short end of the stick? Come on G, we don't have to buy these things at all
How on Earth would Die cast be a good idea at all? It's not malleable, it wouldn't be able to bend, he'd literally have to have so many lines and articulation points across him that he'd look like War Machine Spidey. Complainers gonna complain.
