Has anyone got the same issue on the Iron Spider sewing line? The stitching started to come out. Can anyone share how to reduce this problem?

Certain figures have this similar material where the sewing comes undone. No way to stop it, just don't stress the suit. This is THE worst Spiderman figure to get.

i dont see the problem on the pictures?

what is the problem with the suit? who can tell me that maybe?

This figure shouldn't really be posed if you want to keep it pristine. If you get the itch to pose a Spiderman figure buy a Marvel Legends and go to town on that thing

The extra arms on this really keeps this as my favourite Tom Holland Spidey suit yet.

Although, I do wish I could take some of the high shine gloss away from it...

Thanks and yes they r from HC, they are not a perfect fit. The back of the eyes sit out of the socket slightly, but not enough to notice on the shelf.

So I saw FFH this morning and...

I just realized that the entire bit of Iron Spidey doing battle in the restaurant or whatever was completely cut from the film! :gah: The Iron Spider suit only appears during the charity event and that's it...

So I finally got my Iron Spider in last night. I did research here and seems mine has the same leg issue with the costume not aligning properly. I can fix it and it looks decent. I also have a small mark on the neck that I'm hoping perhaps some heat could fix. Overall I'm not sure if it's worth it trying to go through Sideshow for a replacement or of i should just live with the issues. I honestly love this figure even with its flaws!!

Mine has that neck issue it was from posing the head in a downward position. I heated it with a blow dryer and it got a little better

Not sure if it’s just on my figure... But can anyone else kindly confirm the if the side body stitchings have different patterns? I can’t tell if the figure was stitched like this or if the previous owner did some custom stitch job on the body

I have yet to get one but I'm pretty sure the last stitching to close up the suit of the figure is on the side that's why the two side body stitchings are different. Normal stitch on one side like the rest and the other side is the last hole to insert the inner body of the figure and stitch it from the outside to close it up. My mom sews and I forgot the term for it.

It's the same way wired cloth capes are made. Sew two similar patterns together but inside out. Leave one corner with an opening. Then turn it inside out through the hole and insert the wiring, then stitch to close up the hole from the outside.

edit: Found where I learned about it:

I went through 2 of these figures until I just decided to get a full refund. The 1st one had a hole in the costume and the 2nd had a big stitching lump on the side of the waist that made it look really awkward.

It's experiences like this that has me hesitating. I really want it and was going to dump my rewards to drop it to half price, but if I end up having to get a refund then I'll lose all my rewards. On the other end, I'm just not willing to pay full price for a suit that I'm not 100% in love with.
