dunno what you are seeing, this is the most bulky/blocky looking vest yet. its awkward as all hell

Idk to me the dw and aou, same armour, seemed to go straight down making it look like the figure had zero lats, this at least show a taper where the lats are...I think that shape represents the muscles of Hemsworth much better than the past....just my opinion though

Im sorry but what new trailer did you watch with him with two eyes? because he had a patch in both the teaser trailer and superbowl spot
Yeah that's what I thought, only in the promotional pictures, which may or may not be official, that he still has both his eyes.

Does anyone have a picture of all the previous Thor's lined up?

Yep. Not on my work computer. But I have photos of all of them side by side aside from the sleeveless TDW version. And I'll update it again when Gladiator Thor comes. I'll try and remember to post it tonight..

A couple of shots he didn’t have an eye patch. Like in the d23 version. It is probably either they didn’t finish the cg yet or they used a pre cg clip on purpose due to Thor 3. But it’s out there.

They intentionally hid it before Ragnarok, just like the trailer where he hurls himself onto the Bifrost bridge with the lightning effects.

Agreed. Just pointing out that there are versions out where he has no patch and that could be what the gentleman saw.

Trailers are mostly throw away things. A lot of the stuff never even makes the final cut of a film.

Ah gotcha - make sense. Missed the context. Marvel/Disney have gotten better at throwing distraction scenes around these days.

I am curious how the eye patch will be removable (magnet is likely?) and what potentially is underneath.

Yeah it will be interesting to find out. Seems to be the way they are doing other eye stuff. I mean, I’m hoping it’s not Velcro anyway. Lol

It being detachable seems to be hinting at some scene in the film. Otherwise I don’t see why you do it. It would be more like Odin I would think

Eye-deally (haha) I would like to see them have a post behind the eye patch, and on the end there's a foam buffer over the magnet which interacts with the metal or whatnot behind the eye. That way we don't have true paint contact and can't risk scratching the sculpt.

Maybe it'll be as simple as a Nick Fury reveal sort of scene and we are just reading too far into it haha.

Entirely possible. Could just be hole. Or a scar. Just so you can do the hela fight scene where he lost it since it’s more or less the same costume. Or, it’s the missing infinity stone. Could go either way. Lol

Such a jump in craftsmanship from A1 to TDW. Unreal.

That's the most striking thing to me... the improvement in each generation of figure. Thor 1 and Avengers are incredibly dated looking compared to the newer ones. Thor 1 the materials and tailoring are the worst, and the proportions just too skinny. He also looks like a girls doll without his most redeeming feature, the helmet.

There's not a lot between AoU and Roadworn tbh, but for me the paint of the sculpt is better on Roadworn. Just not quite enough beard on AoU. Some say TDW is more Hemsworth than the newer ones, but Infinity looks like it will be the most Hemsworth of the lot.
