Got mine from BBTS a few days ago, still have not had a chance to fiddle with it, I did open the box though because one set of the missile arm pieces were loose and flopping in the box. They are all fine though, no broken flaps.

So anybody gonna opt for the M6 instead of this one?

I was gonna but decided that this was a better representation of the character and has more of a fun aspect.

Just one set? Lucky you. Both sets of the forearm missile pieces came off in mine. :lol
Fortunately, none of them were broken. Handling the package, when I first got it, sounded like it was a box of Legos. :)

I'm in the same boat. Got the Mk.IV and absolutely love it.
Still on the fence with Mk.VI, however. If I can grab one at a fair price I'd jump, but just not compelled as of now.

Here is my Mark IV .... ^ __ ^

If you have the time, would love to hear why. :)
Thanks.

Speaking in regards to my Mark VI.
1. Neither chest plate stays on very well
2. A magnet for the removable face plate fell off (glued back on)
3. Neither gray bicep piece piece stays on very well

Overall it seems more fragile, less sturdy than Mark IV. In terms of appearance it stands up fine to Mark IV.

that sux...now im worried about getting this MArk VI lots of QC complaints so far

The fragility, to me is to be expected. You can't have all those small moving pieces and swappable pieces without some trade off in durability.

The biggest disappointment are the chest plates, I expect them to stay on. The right bicep stays on just requires TLC. The battle damage arm, thigh plates stay on just fine. As d-guy mentions, a lot of interchangeable pieces for screen accuracy means making allowances.

That said, I prefer the Mark IV.

2. On the face plate are metal pieces.... Magnets resides in the head and bottom mouth piece.

I see, now. Issues with quality, not aesthetics.
Odd thing is, with all three you listed, the problem is the same...components not staying in place where they are suppose to.

I hope HT can improve on their QC.

Thanks for the feedback.

Well the metal plates in the mask on my older Marks fell off too. Its not so much QC but the type of glue HT prefers to use.
But the other extreme ... HT used stronger superglue on their tumbler and lots of ppl ended up with residue all over the Tumbler, especially on the inside which they did not care for

No, it's not OCD.
There has been a few issues lately with HT's packaging and overall quality control...and not just with the Iron Man figures. :(

Out of all the figures especially Iron Man with all the intricate parts, the package should be housed in foam.

Half a tube of glue is pathetic. They aren't building glass windows with PVC. I've seen less glue/sealer on my windows. Slap it on and call me Betty. ¬_¬
