do we think we can actually get the figure to hold the helmet like that?

No. If you zoom into the thumb, you can see that the helmet is photoshopped there and that the hand isn't actually holding the helmet. The only way that would be possible is if there was a magnet in the hand and helmet.

That ain’t photoshop. Too many shadows and reflections that are actually correct. It’s too much work for the hot toys intern to photoshop as good as that.😂
Think they just used bluetac or tape.

Shadows can easily be done in photoshop and the shadow of the thumb on the helmet looks very fake, which is why I pointed to that area.
Regardless of who is right, the fact remains that holding the helmet like that won’t be possible on the actual figure without some sort of assistance
 
This is the second figure I preordered which I think is overpriced but the head sculpt is almost perfect and the display options are endless.

Oh yeah. Def not arguing on if the figure can do that. It can’t.;)
 
Maybe with double sided tape or blu tack or something.

Yeah, most likely blue tack and if they did any photoshopping it would have been to paint out the tack.
