Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

$270 for a barebones (albeit wicked cool) armor is a tad too much. MOS Supes is $200 freaking dollars, and looks just as great (if not better). Pass.

Won't be pre ordering this instant. But I'll definitely be getting this one! Looks great!

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

What the hell's going on? In all the years this is the first time Sideshow have ever got the jump on Hot Toys for revealing a figure that isn't a con exclusive :horror

Oh and easy pass, always thought this armour looked crap :lol

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

Looks cool, but not $270 plus shipping cool.

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

Completely stumbled upon this as I was searching for something else on the site and was shocked to see it there.

Also noticed there is no NRD on a single order according to the site. Not really considering getting it but that might tempt some.

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

Wow, this came out of nowhere!
I'm loving this suit.
Probably going to order it locally.

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

Too much time went by on this one and now I've lost interest, despite being dead-set on POing this when I first saw the suit design. Price is also too steep when it doesn't come with much accessories or features.

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

So I guess he's now Starboost and not Gemini? lol

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

270 is cheaper the 309 for the diecast. I was excited about that. I've fully come to expect hot toys IM to run 280 per shipping now a days.

I don't mind the price as long as they give us accessories. I mean this guy comes with some hands and that's it. I guess that makes it movie accurate since we didn't see the suit in the movie. :lol

Not that I was all that interested but I took a look at the fig, saw the price and went to look for a Stark sculpt or something to justify this price. A pair of extra hands? :slap:lol

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

Does anyone know for sure, does the back piece detach? I'm guessing it does.

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

well I have $172 in rewards that I can use but I should be getting more rewards in the next 2-3 weeks for stuff I had shipped in December.

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

new year, new price point.... I wonder how far would it go by the end of 2014... LOL

Having pre-ordered all other armors, I will probably still get this one.... hope this will be the last of it...

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

This looks amazing! Not much extras, but looks awesome. I thought i was done, but looks so different.

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

I'm really trying to be a completest , but when they don't provide any accessories and keep raising the price its hard for me to justify it. I have some major decisions to make as to whether I keep going with the line or keep what I have. I may just get the Iron Patriot and XLII and call it a day. Oh and IGOR too :)

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - Mark XXXIX / Gemini

War Machine Mk1, Mk7, Mk42, Iron Patriot, Mechanic Tony, I think my Iron Man collection will stop there. With the small chance I pick up Iron Monger if I ever have the funds.
