I got the 1:1 helmet ordered. Whenever I get it I'll let you guys know how it is. And I'll post pics if anyone wants any.

This will be my first bust. Not really something I'm overally into. However a full 1:1 helmet seems cool. The price isn't bad. And I'm going to try modding it to be a wearable helmet, just for fun. If it's at all possible that is. Have to see it in hand first.

The same company that makes this 1:1 makes a lot of 1:1 props. They did loki scepter and the new iron man core. If the quality is good I'll be buying more from them for sure.

December is a very real possibility. It seems like a lot of HT figures are coming out 17 months after they were first put up for PO.

I'm kind of glad this one may be delayed until early next year. Just makes paying easier
I do love thus design and want it bad but it's ordered so I know I'm not going to miss out.

I'm hoping I can make it work. But, no way to know till I get it. I couldn't find any up lose detail pics or pics of the bottom to see how it's constructed. But even if I can't mod it I could use it as a template to sculpt my own I suppose. Not mold it or copy it like that, but use it for reference.

The place I am ordering from has or had all the other 1:1 items from this company too. But most where sold out long before this week. Unfortunatly. Lol this will be my first time trying this guy out so I'm not 100% confident. Not till I have it in hand. But when I do I'd be happy to help others with orders. The prices are like 1/2 or 1/4 of what I would have thought they would be in the USA. The Loki scepter was under 4 bills. The iron man helmets under 3. A couple well under.


As for this hot toy figure being delayed-it has ups and downs. This is the suit I'm most looking forward to getting from IM3. But if it is to be delayed, December would be ok. Given all the figures "currently" slated for a November release it would probably help some figures from getting canceled. But I would rather have this guy then any of the others. As long as it is not a significant delay it's not a big deal to me. I for sure do not want a marchish type delay, that would be nearly two years since announced if I recall the date right.

More time for funds to gather/ release schedule to free up, and they can make improvements and release a solid product.

I wish they kept the pay schedule the same, I hate when they back up and I'll have five, six or seven payments in a month.

I think I've become addicted to buying Hot Toys Iron Man figures, I remember when I first saw this I was like 'is this really an Iron Man suit???' I know it was dark in Iron Man 3 when all the suits were out & in action PLUS as there were so many we really didn't get a proper look at some BUT this one stands out from many of the others & I blinked & missed it both times I watch the movie. lol Anyway, I had to have it & preordered it instantly..., then I went looking for information about the suit & if it really was in the movie..., it's a great variation on the Iron Man armour I think, it certainly speaks to me (& no, I'm not mad..., well at least not enough to warrant being committed).

I totally agree about the suit being eye catching... Very unique. I like it beyond just iron man... Just a great design!
Yeah I can definately see the Iron Man appeal... But I am a minimalist collector so I do not want to over commit to one character. I will eventually have 3 suits (diecast Mark 3, diecast War Machine Mark 2, and Starboost). It would take a lot for me to buy another armour...maybe only a diecast war machine Mar 1.
I really buy this IM figures from my love of the comic book character and the first film. Wasn't the biggest IM 2 or 3 fan and actually wasn't that into the Avengers so I cannot justify buying too many Iron Mans.
