I totally agree about the suit being eye catching... Very unique. I like it beyond just iron man... Just a great design!
Yeah I can definately see the Iron Man appeal... But I am a minimalist collector so I do not want to over commit to one character. I will eventually have 3 suits (diecast Mark 3, diecast War Machine Mark 2, and Starboost). It would take a lot for me to buy another armour...maybe only a diecast war machine Mar 1.
I really buy this IM figures from my love of the comic book character and the first film. Wasn't the biggest IM 2 or 3 fan and actually wasn't that into the Avengers so I cannot justify buying too many Iron Mans.

The first film was definitely the best of the 3 I think, I did like the other films but they weren't as good really..., the only thing that irritated me about the third film though, was the number of suits..., I don't know if they made all of these suits in the comics but it just looked like a merchandising ploy to me, so many suits to now make into toys & collectibles. I'm ok not owning them all but at the same time if an impressive collectible version is made, I'm always tempted & Hot Toys figures are very impressive so the temptation is great when I see a new figure up for preorder. lol I have recently been pondering on buying just one type of Hot Toys figures & have decided on the diecast format, it just appeals to me more (still got several non-diecast suits on preorder though & can't seem to find the will power to cancel them).

No, I collect Star Wars & Doctor Who too..., I'm getting a bit of a Marvel collection now too really (Spider-Man, The Hulk & Deadpool), Star Wars is what I have the most of though. I have pondered about getting the other Avengers figures but currently Avengers wise I've only bought a few of the mini-busts Gentle Giant made.

I was told that there may be a diecast Iron Monger made too, not sure if that's wishful thinking & if it's diecast I can imagine it'll cost a fair bit but I'm sure it'd be impressive if they did make it. I tried for a long time to resist buying Iron Man figures & only have the mark 2 from the original line up..., so if they were to make diecast versions of 1, 4, 5, 6 & 7 (what I call the real Iron Man suits) then I'd certainly buy those..., I like the mark 2 figure I have already so I'll probably not buy a second, 1 of each would be enough.

Yeah I have mostly Star Wars as well, as it is one of my fav franchises and there are so many iconic characters.
Really hope for hot toys Vader and boba fett....

I saw that they've put up a preview on Facebook ahead of the toy fair & their first figures look like they will be a Stormtrooper, Sandtrooper Squad Leader & a Biker Scout..., I'd have thought they'd do Vader first but maybe he's there too as I'm told they might do a surprise reveal at the fair???

It might turn up in December if bought from Sideshow, my retailer her in the UK has an in stock delivery date of February next year currently.

I paid for mine last month, I like to get the figures paid off ASAP as long as the release date isn't too far off..., concentrating on paying off Igor now & then the mark III.

It looks really impressive I think, hopefully they'll get the colours as good as they look in the pictures I've seen..., I know sometimes the prototype can look better than the released figure.
