You guys on the fence will still pick this up before me. CornerStoreComics! :gah:

Save yourself some heartache and avoid doing business with them when possible bro. I dunno for others, but for me, it's not worth saving $15-20 to get my figure 2-3 months later than everyone else, plus if anything goes wrong they answer emails now when they please. And I was a long time customer since 2002. But they've definitely changed personnel there and the customer service magic they once had is no longer there after Richard left this year. Just my 2 cents.

Holy moly it is waitlisted wow & still a preorder?! I'm still on the fence with this one, since I'm on the diecast only armors, I might make an exception like silver centurion.

It's been on preorder for almost a full year now.

im happy to have this bad boy on PO!

i can totally see this holding up its value since it probably wont be made again and it will look incredible on display with the Guardians!

There's no exclusive.

Thanks, I preordered mine through a retailer & it always makes me nervous when Sideshow do the wait list thing before I've got my figure as they have a nasty habit of just telling retailers that they can't have any stock..., & that'd p*** me off as I preordered mine & paid for it at least a year ago. :(

Maybe HT is finally adjusting production to meet demand

Or this close to release sideshow closed the preorder to make sure they had enough stock for customer service, day of, and whatnot.

This figures production numbers was set before it was put up for sale. They know how many they can make before the tooling(molds) break down, and how many they have to sell to break even. If any production was adjusted it was newer announced figures.

True but production numbers can be adjusted on the fly. For example, If they planned to make 10,000 and after a couple months on sale they had only sold 3000 and sales were slowing they would adjust and say make only 4,000. It has happened on plenty of numbered collectables before, I own a star wars ship that they only produced about 5,500 out of 10,000 because of slow sales. I have no idea if they broke even but production lines have to be flexible to meet changing supply and demand.

Yes it can happen. But not after the figure has been produced. The figures where manufactured months ago. It has been released in some markets. It will be out in the USA in weeks. It takes over a month just to get to the states as they are shipped on a container ship. Once a figure has started production they won't adjust the numbers. The majority of the cases where a products numbers are slashed due to slow sales the product has not gone into production. And a prop or statue are completly different production wise.

Well as long as my retailer gets some I'll be happy, it's when Sideshow cancel supplies to retailers that I get irritated..., it shouldn't happen on this one though as it's been on preorder over a year with lots of retailers so they'll have allotted stock from the start. :)
