Yeah a couple of weeks delay is acceptable 2-3 months is absolutely terrible business practice

I think they might have also stopped shipping because of the port problems. No reason to if you cannot get them off the boat when they get here. There are already 12 containers of our stuff sitting at the docks, when this is finally resolved we are going to get flooded with shipping soon emails.

The ***** up thing is for those of us who don't flex pay all our orders we are gonna get slammed with all the charges at once...that's gonna suck and I might just cancel my orders, I can't afford to get hit with a 1500$ charge at once because of backed up orders...smh

I wish they would give the option for flex/regular payers to pay on the scheduled date. I have a few days now with four or five payments on it

That's my biggest issue as well. Though I imagine you could buy a gift card or something of the like and have it paid with that. That way you pay on your schedule and they can take it on theirs.

I prefer that to be honest, I schedule all my payments for the 5th of each month, last year I had nine payments on one day :lol

The containers are there. The dockworkers are purposely holding up the work. No one has stopped shipping. That's asinine to even consider. And I can guarantee you that no one is more stressed about the situation than the poor souls in SS's customer service department.

:chillpill:

I get that everyone's anxious to get their toys and all. I have Starboost, Hot Rod, Rex, Cap/Rogers, Starlord, Artoo, and Falcon sitting there in containers, just like the rest of you. But there are things that happen that are beyond the control of any business. Getting in a toot about it accomplishes nothing, and raging about it says nothing about Sideshow and everything about the person doing the raging.

Collectors and Sideshow are all in this snafu together. Mutual support and understanding will go a good deal further than petty insults and armchair quarterbacking.

Personally, I intend to shrug my shoulders, drink this mimosa, and think positive thoughts about the New Year. Like how it's gonna be like Christmas all over again once those containers are released.

Ah, so you've been to the docks and seen the figures sitting in containers then? And you have polled every single business that imports as well? If that's the case you missed at least one. I cancelled a shipment until the situation is taken care of. And have looked into getting it shipped via another service or port. And I highly doubt I'm the only one to do it. Even if there are things a business can't control, there are still some with deadlines and when a deadline is missed it can cost a ton. Especially if it's something like construction. Got a friend in San Diego that runs a construction company his family owns and he has some custom stone coming in. If he goes over the deadline in the contract/bid it can cost up to 10, 000 a day.

Any blanket statement that "no ones even thinking" of canceled shipping is silly. Unless you happen to know everything planned to come into port over the next month or two.

And unless you have been down to the docks and seen the containers with the figures I would hold off on declaring its 100% sitting there. Unless you have some connection that works there and you know the shipment info. Then i apologize. If I where sideshow and hot toys i would cancel the shipment if it hadn't left, or re-route it, to get it to another port. It's very possible these companies may end getting extra charges for storage of product if it's sitting there for months. Or a company may just return it if they don't want to sit in port for months. Hard to know for sure. Either way it's lots of lost income for a ton of people.

You could say that I have a connection who works there... :monkey3

And you've missed the point of my post, which was an appeal for everyone to calm dawn. Instead, you took the opportunity to call me out on some supposed ********, and then grind some weird, non sequitor of an axe.

Hey, if being pissed about the scenario is that important to you, then by all means, grind away. I've made my appeal, now I'm done.

(Puts on tinfoil hat) HK sellers are behind this latest delay. If you really want Gemini, you better head on over to eBay and pay 25 to 50 percent above retail! :lol

I dunno, I just got Strike Suit Cap for $239 shipped, less then 5% above SS. I've seen decent prices for Star Lord (non exclusive) and Gemini as well. Granted most prices are bend you over inflated but some do exist should one wish to venture to the dark side.

Where did you buy Gemini from?
