Yes, once again BBTS does not get their HT products directly from HT so that is why they sell their figures for a lot of money. But when BBTS gets HT through SS who is a official distributer, they can sell the figures for much cheaper price because SS gets them for just about the cheapest price HT can offer them.

With that said, I am sure once SS puts theirs up for sale that BBTS will get them from SS and lower the price.

Maybe SS will at least preview this in the newsletter tonight? If not then I think we will have to wait till SDCC.

Oh and the Fleischer Toons are the best Superman stories as well as the best comic hero toons ever made. They look great even to todays animation.

old post, but i felt the need, the Old flischer toons were done i a style known as Rotoscoping, where an artists fimls Real poepl and then draws over each individual frame with animation, it's a realt neet process that is rarely used any more.

Holy crap, is that Batman's motorcycle thing he drives in The Dark Knight Trailer???? Batman looks badass too! I've been skipping all Dark Knight related threads until the movie comes out so I'm totally out of the loop. How much for that Batman and motorcycle and where would be the best place to order one?

First of all, the Hot Toys Dark Knight stuff isn't being officially released in the US, so you have to go through importers of some kind. The motorcycle is called the Bat-pod, and the cheapest place is probably Toys2.net at $239. There are two versions of Batman being released (one suit that's close to the Batman Begins one and one that's a new design). Toys2 has the new suit version for $145. They're sold out of the original, but you can still get it on ebay.

There are some very long threads about the figures and the Batmobile/Bat-pod in the general movies forum.

SSC won't announce it until HT does - it might be the same week, but we'll have to wait a while I think.

I'm wondering if the dealers already selling it have some idea of the cost from HT or if they're just guessing. That's a pretty big risk if they're guessing - this could be a $200 figure and even with a dealer discount they won't be making much if anything at $145-165.

I just checked it out. Incredible to say the least. I don't know that I love Batman *that* much to devote the cash and space to the Tumbler but I'm really liking the Batman/Bat-Pod setup. I don't need to divert the Iron Man thread anymore I was just shocked at how cool they looked in that pic above.

SSC won't put it up until we see it on HT's official site. The way it will go is HT will release official pics and specs. That same week if its before Thursday, SSC will tease in their NL, it will PreOrder the next week in the Thursday NL.
