Hot Toys wont push for another Iron Man, not till they do a Mach1 and 2. How much money, and better in what way. I'm meaning a better Mach 3. They could put a figure inside the armour but it wouldn't work, for reasons stated by others previously. The only thing I can think, would be a flip mask, with Downey's face inside.

I think we'll get a Battle Damaged version soon after the initial release like their Predator lines. I think the unmasked RDJ sculpts will continue with the Mark 02 and the Mark 01 with different sculpts completely like they've done with The Dark Knight figures. I don't think they'd release another Mark 03 undamaged unless they do a Golmer version with the shoulder guns and arm missile sculpt or call it something like "Military Engaged" Iron Man and have the flares exposed on the hip as well as the air brakes. All of those things could be included in one more version but it'd look radically different with all the additional armor pieces and I doubt that one who includes a flip up mask since it isn't accurate.

No, they will cost more than the eBay price, but shipping is usually higher from HK. But they end up costing about the same as in the end, as SSC's shipping cost will be less.

Exactly. All of which will be better than this version! Thus 'better Iron Man'. As for this particular Mk 3 version, battle damage will most likely be an improvement. Usually the case with all the other HT releases aside from ED-209. I have been burned by HT too many times!

And I'm pretty sure Mk stands for 'Mark'.

bbts has him up for preorder for $219.99. they are usually very competitive. although they note they are looking for a better supplier to lower the cost, do you really think it will go down a minimum of $40 and as much as $65 from that price?
